"constructive majorities"

The words coming from President Emmanuel Macron Friday following the failure of his "Moderate Centrist" coalition to win a majority in the National Assembly elections.

And while 84 of the 131 NUPES coalition of the "Left" who were elected are part of Jean-Luc Melenchon's LFI strongly opposed to Macron's policies the others include Greens and Socialists who may take a mainstream political turn depending on the issue and could help Macron win a majority....

Emmanuel Macron took time out Friday to react to the US Supreme Court decision regarding Roe vs. Wade describing abortion as a "fundamental right for all women" and expressing his "solidarity" with American women.
