Trump Dominates GOP Primary Poll – DeSantis Leads Pence
the palmieri report ^ | June 22, 2022

Posted on 06/22/2022 12:06:56 PM PDT by SoConPubbie

President Donald Trump remains Republican voters’ choice for President in 2024.

A new Zogby poll found Trump leading the GOP primary by a wide margin with 53.9% saying they would support him.

DeSantis came in second out polling Mike Pence. It is likely that if Trump chose not to run the vast majority of his support would go to DeSantis.

From The Washington Examiner:

Former President Donald Trump can’t be beat in a GOP primary. That’s clear in new polling.

But if the 45th president decides to skip 2024, the race between Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis and former Vice President Mike Pence could heat up.

In the latest Zogby Poll provided exclusively to Secrets, Trump leads the rest of the GOP field by a country mile. He clocks in with 53.9% of the GOP vote, followed by DeSantis at 11.5% and Pence, Trump’s former No. 2, at 9.7%.

If Trump didn’t run, most all of his support would go to DeSantis. None of it would go to Pence.

Pence and DeSantis aren’t close at all in terms of support.

I would support Biden over Pence but to be honest if it’s not Trump I don’t really care as it’s clear to me the people have very little say and if they actually do they’ll never be allowed to vote with all the facts.

I have no problem with either Trump or DeSantis. What’s the deal with all these people willing to vote for the other RINOs on the list. (I’ll refrain from calling Pompeo a RINO until I know more about what he would do as President.

Whoever the 9.7% are that voted for Pence should just come out of the closet and say they’re a Democrat.

Word on the street is, he’s living in DC and doing the rounds trying to get support for his run.

Given that his claim to fame is/was being a part of Pres Trump’s administration, I can’t see how he thinks he can beat the man who hired him if he does try and run. Oh well.

While he may have went along with Pres Trump’s agenda as SecState, more so than Tillerson at least, he might just be proving that he’s a RINO Deep State clown after all.

There’s another poll out today that’s getting a lot of attention with Desantis leading Trump. NR and the Democrat Party-press is salivating over it. I’ll let one of the anti-Trumpers find it and post it.

Pence 9.7%? - I call BS.

I don't. There are a lot of Republican Primary voters who think that Pence "did what he had to do" and that he is younger and less volatile than Trump. That is in the addition to the Never-Trumpers who think they can squeeze Pence by.

And, even in primaries there are some ardent low information voters out there who have heard of Pence and think he's nice enough, and don't want impeachments 4, 5 and 6.

“A new Zogby poll found Trump leading the GOP primary”

What GOP primary are they talking about there?

Just today I read of the NH primary:
New poll of NH GOP primary voters shows a major shift toward DeSantis ahead of 2024 -
https://twitchy.com/gregp-3534/2022/06/22/new-poll-of-nh-gop-primary-voters-shows-a-major-shift-toward-desantis-ahead-of-2024

New UNH survey of “like NH GOP primary voters” for 2024 (n=318):
DeSantis 39%
Trump 37%
Pence 9%
Haley 6%
Pompeo 1%
Noem 1%
Cruz 1%

Last October:
Trump 43%
DeSantis 18%
Haley 6%
Pence 4%
Cruz 2%
Noem 1%

What GOP primary are they talking about there?

Well, this really isn't that complicated.

The poll you have listed is for one (1) state, New Hampshire.

The Zogby Poll, the basis for this article, is for ALL fifty (50) states.

It is still no contest between President Trump 24' and any other possible candidate when all probable GOP Voters are taken into considered.

Trump wins in a cake-walk!

MAGA 2024 Baby!
