Bloomberg News appeared to join a growing chorus of liberal outlets rejecting President Joe Biden’s gaslighting on the severity of the American inflation crisis.

The headline for Bloomberg News’ Biden smackdown was right on the nose: “White House Claim of Inflation Cushion Undercut by Savings Data.” U.S. Treasury Secretary Janet Yellen, National Economic Council Director Brian Deese and other Biden talking heads have “repeatedly” cited “Americans’ bank accounts [injected with pandemic-era savings] as buffers” against the 40-year-high inflation-plagued economy. However, as Bloomberg News reporter Saleha Mohsin analyzed, “the money is rapidly evaporating for 26 million low-income families.”

Some lies are loyalty tests, and not so much meant to deceive.

I figured a 38% inflation rate max since that was the highest rate of money expansion . Food costs have actually exceeded that . With all the food processing centers burning down it looks like somebody is trying to induce a food shortage. Communist Revolution plot?

What is the median annual income in the U.S. About $45 or $50 thousand? Do you think people who live paycheck to paycheck have a lot of savings to fall back upon? Even those who make $100,000 per year probably have very little savings. And, any such savings is being rapidly eaten up by inflation.

Way too minimize people losing jobs, bonuses, opportunities, and more.

They don’t care. They don’t know anyone in the middle class.

Gas is well over $6.00/gallon in California.

Cost me $80 to fill up my car yesterday (I drive a hybrid).

A LOT of people I used to work with don’t have $80 to fill up the car every week. That is a huge burden to the “working class” - yet they are the very ones who continue to vote for the likes of Gavin Newson (who refuses to suspend California’s highest- in - the -nation gas tax) - and voted to keep the latest gas tax when we had a referendum to eliminate it.

Got my first report of gas siphoning yesterday about two blocks from my home. I told my nephew to back my car into the driveway and then close and lock the gate - have a light on the driveway at night. This siphoning is just the start.
