Romney really gets 13 million from the NRA??!?
Who the hell still belongs to the NOTYER RIFLE ORG?
BTTT
All he cares about is the 2nd Amendment. It doesn't occur to him that mass illegal immigration might change the electorate enough to make the NRA's efforts useless.
Rather than support truly conservative candidates, they fund incumbents who ham it up as supposed 2A supporters, but are liberal on all the issues that allow the gun grabbers to gain votes.
The mindless refrain from them: We gotta support the RINO Republican because if we support the real conservative, then he might lose to the Democrat.
That's why Linda Grahamnesty is still in office.
Sad. Truly sad.
They can't see past the end of their snub nosed revolvers.
Allen West only got one vote.
Stuck in the mud is what they are.
Three of them at least are retiring (Burr, Portman, Toomey). I’ll give them a pass on Portman because he was highly ranked in power. But usually you want to throw your money at folks who are going to run again.
The NRA pisses off the right people. That is one of the reasons I am a life member.
Well said.
RINO supporters see all of the value of RINOs but none of their liabilities.
I dropped my NRA membership so,e time ago when it became apparent to me that they were not serving the interests 2armed America. .
This story goes from (1) National Association for Gun Rights, (2) to Newsweek, a (3) twitter page for Public Citizen, to Citizen.org, which says on their front page,
"We Fight For You and Take On Corporate Power Corporations have their lobbyists. The People need advocates too."
This is one of Ralph Nader's organizations. I don't think Nader's groups would like about the numbers, except they don't say where they got them. Once can guess that this is cumulative over the years.
It is past time for Wayne Lapierre to resign. He can't read the political winds and respond like he used to. Dying in office is for Senators, not activists.
Ed
The NRA was silent during the bumpstock ban. I stopped my membership. Only Gun Owners of America since the bumpstock hysteria. More gun rights given up by sniveling Republican leaders than anyone.
Stop shilling for gin grabbers like Manxhin, Trump and these current traitors.
Unfortunately, their is a subculture that would handle over their very last round if gun grabber trump told them to. It’s 4 d chess they say. Which is another way of saying.. I blindly obey. Just like lockdowns and everything else.
At least they spend our money on fighting the left in court, rather than building elaborate, multi-million dollar compounds for their leadership -- and supporting anti-2A RINOs.
but we haven't given a cent since we figures out the score....that being they only cared about electing certain people and were more than willing to throw solid patriotic and conservative people under the bus......
I left the sellout GOP in 2021...before that I left the NRA in 2020 because of Wayne’s coruption.

Here is part of the real truth:
https://www.sltrib.com/news/politics/2022/05/26/mitt-romney-received-nra/
Any money the NRA uses to oppose a anti-gun Democrat is counted as a “contribution” to the Republican candidate. The NRA did not give that much directly to any Senator.
That figure for Romney includes the money used to fight the election of Obama in 2008.
Don’t be a sucker.
I’ve been declaring the same message for well over a decade. It is maddening how dumb and short sighted people are not to see this coming.
