I’m pretty sure the argument she’s trying to make is that the guns flow to where the victims are disarmed. Bad guys don’t shoot up Indiana, they go to Chicago where guns are outlawed.
In other words... Gun restrictions encourage victimization.
Typical liberal... rather than allowing people to defend themselves, they’ll just create more victims.

Why would Maine gun shops sell to someone from a state that does not have reciprocity?
I was in a gun store here in NH some time back and someone from CT wanted to buy a gun and they would not sell it to her. CT, MA and a few other states were on their list of won’t sell it to.
I live in New York. I blame the criminal first and foremost. Then I blame the revolving door criminal justice system or lack thereof for letting those criminals out with no bail or slap on the wrist sentences. Then I blame the politicians (yeah you *AAOC) for turning a blind eye and giving lip service to the real problems and destroying the morale of the police who no longer care to get involved in fighting crime. That’s it.

If I was Russia, I would flood the US with AKs, RPGs, Grenades, mines and other weapons. Get them to the criminals in Chicago, Detroit, St. Louis, Memphis, NY, Philadelphia, Baltimore, Newark …. Flood it with death like the US state department does everyone else. Just hand them out

The criminals are probably buying them from private parties, or even more likely, from fellow criminals. Or they are trading drugs for guns.
In 2016, Michael Bloomturd funded a ballot initiative here in Maine to ban the private sale of firearms.
The police chiefs of Maine appeared in TV commercials, in uniform, supporting the ban.
The Maine Sheriffs appeared in TV commercials, in uniform, expressing their opposition to the ban of private sales.
The sheriffs won....the people of Maine voted in November, 2016 to keep the private sales of firearms.
