Mark Meadows and Dan Scavino both refused to cooperate with the January 6th committee’s witch hunt against President Donald Trump.
The House responded by voting to hold both in contempt of Congress.
The Department of Justice has now refused to prosecute them.
The Hill reported:
The Department of Justice (DOJ) will not be charging former Trump White House officials Mark Meadows and Dan Scavino for refusing to cooperate with the House select committee investigating the Jan. 6, 2021, Capitol riot, The New York Times reported, which cited a letter it reviewed on the matter as well as people familiar with the prosecutors’ decision.
The Friday letter that the Times reviewed was communication between U.S. Attorney Matthew Graves and House General Counsel Douglas Letter, the latter of whom was told about officials’ decision, according to the newspaper.

Both Meadows and Scavino had spent weeks negotiating with the committee’s lawyers.
The New York Post reported:
Before the vote, Meadows and Scavino spent weeks negotiating with committee lawyers, in contrast to Navarro, who ignored the panel.
Meadows also turned over nearly ten thousand pages worth of documents to the group, which is comprised of seven Democrats and two Republicans.

Rep. Bennie Thompson and Rep. Liz Cheney released a joint statement upset with the decision not to prosecute.

In other words, the committee was wrong in the first place at speculating some "pertinent" info on the Jan 6th riot.

Navarro‘s arrest was only intended as yet another distraction from the crappy condition the country is in under Biden.
That’s right. Next they’re going to double down on whoever they go after next.
Agree and it’s going to be a high price they will pay for it many things will get back to normal if the next two elections don’t get rigged.
Meadows and Scavino didn’t fight. Bannon and Navarro are fighting. There’s a clear difference here. We can’t recognize the illegitimate and play by their rules. The right thing to do is to stand up against them and fight. There are too many pussies in this country and that is exactly the reason why this nation has turned into a third world sh*t hole banana republic.
I read quite a few of Meadows texts from Jan 6th. When things were going south with people going to Capital, many people pleaded with Meadows to get Trump to stop it, say something, tell people not to go to capital. Also people mentioned how it was a trap as Anitfa was mixed in the crowd of Trump supporters telling people to go to Capital. Maybe 6 hours later President finally said something.
Trump should have said something right at the beginning of the rush to the Capital. He didn’t.

Reality here is that this clown show of hearings has seven more months to run, then will be shut down. If that is all that happens, DemoKKKrats will be very fortunate. If enough MAGA people get in, every one of the toadstool dicknipples on the Patriot Day committee ought to be expelled.
Were Meadows and Scavino ever indicted by a Grand Jury?

He didn’t because he didn’t know “right at the beginning”. Check the timeline. The big rush began while he was still speaking - - and not by Trump supporters. The FBI was setting the stage and leading the charge.
