We got to this point because the education systems has been indoctrinating our society for decades now PEOPLE HAVE BECOME SHEEP!! I used to believe that it was just the universities HOWEVER now I realize these bastards have gotten ahold of our little ones brainwashing them from a much younger age!!
Governor Abbott has the power to fire Texas DPS officers and Game Wardens.
HELL YEAH if only the shooter had been wearing a MAGA hat the bastard would have been dead in seconds!!
Yeah but the kids didn’t have guns to protect themselves; the cops had guns.
Considering that the Texas DPS spokesman said yesterday that officers had engaged the shooter before he entered the building, and there were multiple witnesses outside, including people who captured the shooter on video, I think the police knew how many shooters were in the building - one.
Considering that the reports of what happened are coming from the police, why would they be making up some kind of story to "defund the police"? Doesn't that make you wonder if your hypothesis is baseless?
Just floating this, given that I've come to know our enemy well:
What if - just WHAT IF - they were ordered to hold? The county judge for Uvalde is William R. Mitchell, a democrat.
I have about 100x more questions about this tragedy than information even Abbott provided, including why 150 officers were feigning crowd control over parents in an active shooter theater. It would explain why the BORTAC team went into the school and not local or county SWAT.
Though extremely critical of their lack of action initially, I'm not so willing to quickly throw them under the bus (yet)...since that's EXACTLY what the WH & the left wants us to do.
I never suggested the police were resurrecting defund they police. The DEMOCRATS are, this is their hope for salvaging the mid terms, make the police look dangerous, untrained and feckless AGAIN. Same playbook different play. Read Joes new executive order, couldn’t be more timely. Sorry, I’m going to wait until this all shakes out before I believe the cops were “scared”.

So the cops could have been shot, while it was guaranteed that that 10 year old kids were being shot.

Let me ask: did the police take any affirmative steps to answer those questions to their satisfaction? Did they put any scouts out to determine any of that or did they remain within the safety of cover and concealment?
This reeks of governmental cowardice all the way around. Except for their official reaction to concerned and panicked parents while they were busy retrieving their own kids. /S
