If corporate America ignores certain demographics, THAT'S RACIST! If they recognize those demographics, THAT'S RACIST! The hustle never ends. What a waste of time and resources, why bother?

Did Walmart pull it because a) they had watermelon flavor, or b) they didn’t have watermelon flavor?

I can see the ad campaign:
Our master ice cream makers have created a flavor that will enslave you. Emancipate it at your local grocery store.

They’re doing a full ramp up of trying to replace July 4th.
My wokeified company is holding a “Juneteenth cookout” to celebrate diversity and freedom.

I actually agree with celebrating Juneteenth. This stuff just shows that no good deed goes unpunished.

Was the ice cream vanilla with raspberry swirls to represent all the bloodshed spent to end slavery?

My idea for holidays would have been to add Juneteenth to the federal calendar, which has been done, in exchange for separating “Presidents Day” back into Washington and Lincoln’s Birthdays.

How stupid of them to get even remotely involved in politics. Especially with Americans so on edge these days.
For every one thing they say in support of black culture there’s 10 awful things about it they can’t mention about the rot that it’s become.

Are we still pretending that this is a real holiday? Can’t we just drop it already

Florida watermelons already out, I picked one up in Virginia this morning. I don’t eat ice cream just fruit. Doctor’s orders.

You can’t placate radicals with any amount of pandering. Outrage is their normal state of mind. There’s no point in even trying.

Forget that...what is this supposed to “represent”??
Walmart is also launching a similar “celebration edition” for Pride Month, which is also coming up in June. That flavor is white chocolate ice cream with brownies and cherries.

I’ve read that some of the objections are because the Juneteenth ice cream was sold under Walmart’s “Great Value” logo, which some saw as demeaning because it’s a discount brand.
I wonder what the reaction would have been if a premium ice cream maker had come up with it?
