Just a thought on blue jeans. Out of curiosity, a guy went and bought some blue genes online. I have a challenge with box stores as they fail to carry my size. The Inseam is the most challenging, that would be a 29", not the tallest guy but can get it online in a couple days. Waist is a 31", again not found in my local stores.
I want to shop local to support my businesses, 30 X 32"s was all that was available. It's all available online and in stock. The local businesses have no answer.
Bought Levi's and Wranglers, the Wranglers are kicking ass on durability, they don't fit as well. Levi's used to be known for this durability thing, they are now about brand and style.
Then we have body types to fit the jeans, not sure what that was modeled after.
Just looking for fit, finish and real durability.
Be Blessed and thank you for your thoughts and experiences.
Yes, how come there are Big AND Tall MEN, but only “Big” Women stores (never named such)?
Going by that, you’d think it’s unusual to have tall men but not tall women.
But WE are the oddballs! Why no Tall Women shops?
I basically agree with you. Although for the last 5 years or so, I have about 3 pairs ready to go. Mostly because it’s hard to find ANY pants for tall women.
But jeans are overrated. I never find them “comfortable”. Whether “true” jeans or spandexed, they are heavy, can be clunky, and HORRIBLE if they get wet. Even heavier, and never dry. I don’t find them “practical” at all if they can’t dry out fast after running thru a rainstorm. My dressier pants are far superior in drying out.
Jeans may be “rugged” if one really needs to do actual farm work, but other than that I don’t really get it.
