AZ has very low gas taxes, but gets most of the gas from California. So we get the California prices minus the taxes.

They want sky high gas prices, they ran on it. Only voters can turn this mess around.
They are still in a sense of denial because they only pushback they ever see is a question from Fox News, which they dismiss as a fringe.
I was just looking for used vehicles last night. Apparently someone wants these trucks. 5 year old Diesel full size trucks were still listed well above 50k. Bit I was looking for a small Tacoma type. Even those were 50 to 60k.

I can haul more stuff in my $350 Horror Fraught trailer than most of these guys have room for. But I admit that my “mini” van that holds ANOTHER 4 x 8 feet in back with the seats down lacks black smoke. It does have a cheap muffler some I’m about 1/4 of the way to the especially ignorant sound effects.
When they do the “Carolina Squat” on their pickup truck/SUV, it’s pretty obvious that they don’t give a crap about hauling or towing anything. They just want to look like a retarded dork.
And if you aren’t familiar with the Carolina Squat...that’s when you jack the front of the truck up and lower the back, so it looks like a dog dragging it’s butt across the living room carpet.
Both North Carolina and Virginia have passed laws banning this particular modification. For some reason the driver can’t see what’s in front of them, and it’s caused accidents.

Find a restoration shop and write a check for more than it is worth. Unless it’s in really good shape to start with. Restoration parts are out there. There is still enough of them on the road that the supply of good used parts is strong.
