China Preparing for “D-Day” INVASION of the Continental United States, With Forces to Land on the Beaches of California, as Biden and Newsom Serve as China’s Accomplices: Sources

Leaked audio that appears to have originated from a meeting of China’s top war generals reveals elaborate plans for a land invasion in the near future, waged by the People’s Liberation Army (PLA) and augmented with cyber warfare, orbital space weapons and the activation of CCP civilians currently embedded in corporations and governments around the world.

This is the bombshell that has emerged from the leaked audio out of China, for which a full English translation and transcript has now been published by whistleblower Jennifer Zeng at this link. (The English translation is somewhat rough but still very useful.)

“To be clear...I’m not part of the “pro-Russian faction”....whatever that is.”

And I never said you were. Had I thought you were, I would have said, “YOU and the pro-Russian faction,” or words to that effect.

“I can tell you right now that’s bogus.”

I agree with you. The comment you quoted was not made by me.

you are splitting hairs. Each one is half a megaton (which by itself is megaton class if you are not overly focused on word smithing).

Most significant targets would have 2-4 MIRVs delivered putting the total between 1 and 2 megatons.

That is a megaton class attack in my book and it would definitely leave a “big impression” so to speak...

So, I’m afraid your horse is now dead from the beating...have a nice weekend with these happy thoughts.

By your “logic” the bombs dropped on Hiroshima and Nagasaki would fit the definition of being in the megaton range.

However, the fact remains the warheads on the Ohios are not in the megaton range.

As I said before, if you want to total the delivery then the Ohios could deliver a strike measured in megatons.

You need to be more precise in your statements if you don’t won’t people to think you’re ignorant on this topic.

School lesson over. Now go clean your room.

Come on now - ask yourself if you even makes sense.

Hiroshima =~15 kilotons
Nagasaki =~20 kilotons

1 MIRV W88 at 475 kilotons (eg half a megaton) =~ 32 times Hiroshima yield. Yes, half a megaton is in the megaton class range rube.

Good luck with your new math on other projects though..

*********************

You're the one trying to dig out of your hole you dug by claiming the MIRVs were in the megaton range.

"...they face a salvo of Trident MIRV megaton class nuclear weapons..."

Then you tried to advance your argument they were really megaton yields because 475k is really half a megaton....except half a megaton is 500k. However, the yield is discussed as 475kt...not megatons. And 475k is not half of a megaton. 500k is half. Basic math.

Castle Bravo, I presume you know that one, is measured at 15 megatons. They don't report it in terms of kilotons. Same as the Tsar Bomba. It is reported in megatons....not kilotons. Why?

A megaton is equal to 1,000,000 tons of TNT.

A kiloton is equal to 1000 tons of TNT.

What you're missing is the understanding of scale. We're talking scale here.

To continue your "logic" the bombs on Hiroshima /Nagasaki are in the megaton range....just on a smaller scale as is the W88....though neither are reported as a percentage of megatons...except by you.

Please tell me you didn't do anything real complicated in the Air Force.

Have you got your room cleaned up yet??

That is lots of overwhelming firepower considering there are 17-19 of those boomers about...

Nope. We don't have this many boomers.

In 1994, the Nuclear Posture Review study determined that, of the 18 Ohio SSBNs the U.S. Navy would be operating in total, 14 would be sufficient for the strategic needs of the U.S. The decision was made to convert four Ohio-class boats into SSGNs capable of conducting conventional land attack and special operations.

Each Trident missile typically has 8 475kt MIRV warheads...,

475KT warheads. I note you did not call these half-megaton warheads. Why? Simply because they're not in the megaton range.

Oh and then there's this....There are 927 warheads deployed on 210 Trident II D5 missiles, or an average of 4.4 warheads per missile. Some missiles are "de-MIRVed" and equipped with a single W76-2 warhead, which depresses the overall average.

Are you always this sloppy in your "facts"???

I really hope you didn't do anything above cleaning latrines in the Air Force.

The closest you ever got to the military was obviously a video game somewhere. Plus you are just an unlikable person.

Your argument was pointless to start and irrelevant with regard to an equally implausible “story” that got way too much attention.

Your “statistics” are a collection of semi-truths at different points in time based on the various START agreements but lacking awareness of what happens past the Internet. Plus none of that really matters to begin with since it had nothing to do with my statement or your argument back. You obviously struggle with the concept of the W88 at 475KT being “megaton class” and took offense to that for some reason because you probably cant do math in your head...

You could definitely be a poster child for the Dunning-Kruger effect - you are a perfect example.

Go back to your outpost at Mother Jones and don’t bother us here...

You are now really beginning to embarrass yourself.

The closest you ever got to the military was obviously a video game somewhere. Plus you are just an unlikable person. I've forgotten more about the military than you ever learned in your time in the AF....that's pretty apparent.

I guess you don't like people who are sharper, smarter and quicker than you. You probably don't have many friends if you cannot handle the basic facts.

Your argument was pointless to start and irrelevant with regard to an equally implausible “story” that got way too much attention.

My initial point was valid and remains valid. You do not attack a sovereign nation unless they've attacked you....unless you're Russia. Which is the position you've taken.

Your “statistics” are a collection of semi-truths at different points in time based on the various START agreements but lacking awareness of what happens past the Internet.

Ever statistic I've offered is correct. That you cannot post anything to the contrary illustrates that.

As an example....you claimed "...considering there are 17-19 of those boomers about... when in fact we only have 14 SSBNs. Those are the submarines that carry the Trident missiles with the warheads in the KT yield range.

Plus none of that really matters to begin with since it had nothing to do with my statement or your argument back.<>Recall your original bonehead claim...."...they face a salvo of Trident MIRV megaton class nuclear weapons..."

You obviously struggle with the concept of the W88 at 475KT being “megaton class” and took offense to that for some reason because you probably cant do math in your head...

I don't struggle with how the yield of the warheads is described. The warheads on Trident are in the kiloton range.

It is you who cannot do basic math. Recall you claimed a 475 KT warhead is a "half megaton" warhead.

The problem for your limited mind is simple math. Half of a megaton is 500k. However, the yield is discussed as 475kt...not megatons. And 475k is not half of a megaton. 500k is half. Basic math.

You could definitely be a poster child for the Dunning-Kruger effect - you are a perfect example.

Ah yes....now the liberal resorts to accusing others of what they themselves are guilty.

Go back to your outpost at Mother Jones and don’t bother us here...

Go finish cleaning your mom's basement.

Every country has war plans. That doesn’t mean war is immanent. We had plans to invade Canada. Maybe we still do.

I saw this article yesterday.

https://warontherocks.com/2022/05/amateur-hour-part-i-the-chinese-invasion-of-taiwan/

It provides a pretty interesting comparison of what it takes to pull off an amphibious invasion.

The summary is that most of China’s stuff will be at the bottom of the ocean or dead on the beaches pretty early.

I know 475 isn’t half of 1000. You don’t.

I know how many boomers with Tridents we have. You don’t.

In other words your “facts” are wrong and mine are right.

Now make me a samich.

As I said before, I sure hope you didn’t do anything important in the Air Force.

Given the scope of your arguments, you will never be able to fully grasp how limited your intellect is.

But, you have the jackass part down perfectly, so keep on playing your role...

PS the fact that you think the Air Force runs our 18 Ohio Class subs is pretty funny. Even though 4 are technically SLGNs they are still Boomers to me. I really don’t care what you think about that to be honest. The Harpoons on the SLGNs carry an impressive thermonuclear package in their own right.

wrapping it up -
I never said I was in the Air Force (I was in the Navy though)

I never claimed to be providing exact confidential info regarding our thermonuclear weapons to humor you (but I was trained and qualified to deliver them.)

my argument really had little to do with how our Triad is outfitted because it changes constantly. I’m sure it is different now considering Putins nuclear threats and I doubt START II is going to influence what the deployed packages are at this point in time.

In any event, it is sufficient (in terms of 10’s of megatons) to make a huge impression. That point escaped you from the beginning while you tried to solve a simple math problem and struggled with the concept of 8 * .48 Megaton warheads on a single Trident II missile can be objectively called “megaton class” in fact, I would put all hydrogen bombs in that class when you aggregate them and consider how many are “dial a yield”.

But, the big picture is pretty easy to argue to refute the premise of this thread at the beginning before you took it off into the weeds of irrelevancy.
