Russia to Cut Power Supply to Finland Tomorrow

Russia will halt power supply to Finland on Saturday due to lack of payment.
According to Reuters, Russian utility Inter RAO will suspend the power supply to Finland due to non-payment since May 6.
The Finnish grid company said it can replace Russian electricity supply by importing more electricity from Sweden.
Sweden and Finland are both looking to join NATO.

Russia will probably still show up at Finland’s door with a little pink slip and tell Finland they have one last chance to pay the overdue balance before they go around back and cut the power. It ALWAYS works that way. Why mail a check when they’ll send someone right to your door to pick it up? No worries Finland, we’ve all been there!

So, Eino and Toivo were up on the roof, nailing down shingles.
Every once in a while, Toivo would get hit by a roofing nail. This continued for a while, until Toivo yelled at Eino: "Eino, what the hell ya doin'!"

The miscalculation the Soviets are making here is that as all of Europe disconnects from Russia that disconnect is more likely to be permanent. That’s a revenue stream that won’t come back after the war is over.
