Makes me wonder if this lockdown strategy is part of a larger picture. Under Biden, we are the weakest we have been in decades. If China isn’t producing we also fall apart. If anyone thinks supply chain issues are a problem now they may be about to become far worse. We are far too dependent on them. We may think they are too but maybe the CCP considers the peasants expendable and are willing to sacrifice them to bring down the USA. Some form of economic destruction where they believe they’ll survive better than us?

It just feels like there’s more to this...

The thing is that they are using more energy than ever before. And Russia is providing it.

It appears much of the capital that supported the real estate market and growth in China was provided from foreign direct investments. It’s now clear that the Trump administration had a significant impact on the world’s perception of the Chinese market, and they began to see it for what it was, a Ponzi scheme protected by currency manipulation. Once again, Trump was right, and the Chinese chickens are coming home to roost.
