There have been 25 coincidental fires at food plants across the nation. Reuters tries to tell us that it is not a conspiracy, but you will remember that they happily spread the Russian collusion/Hunter Biden laptop Russian disinformation propaganda. So, it seems reasonable to have doubts, especially as China and Bill Gates are competing to buy up farms.
But it's the baby formula shortage that really is disturbing. Sen. Tom Cotton calls it a "national crisis", not that any democrats care. Congress just authorized $40 billion for Ukraine but has nothing for baby formula here. The nation's largest producer of formula is Abbott Labs. It's production of baby formula was halted three months ago
But an investigation cleared AbbottThe plant was shut down nearly three months ago after a bacterial infection caused the deaths and other serious illnesses.
In mid-February Abbott Laboratories issued a nationwide baby formula recall and ceased operations at its plant in Sturgis, Michigan amid reports of babies contracting bacterial infections from its products.
Other bacteria was detected but it in a non-contact area.An Abbott spokesperson told DailyMail.com Tuesday that 'thorough investigation' by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) and Abbott revealed 'infant formula produced at our Sturgis facility is not the likely source of infection in the reported cases and that there was not an outbreak caused by products from the facility'.
However, despite the findings of the investigation, the plant remains shuttered nearly three months later, fueling the nationwide baby formula shortage.
But the FDA keeps the hammer downAbbott alleges that none of the formula distributed to consumers tested positive for Cronobacter or Salmonella. The manufacturer claims the FDA and Abbott officials both tested retained products for the bacterias and yielded negative results.
Abbott notes no trace of Salmonella was found at the Sturgis plant and the Cronobacter that was found in environmental testing during the investigation was in non-product contact areas of the facility. The company alleged the traces of Cronobacter at their plant have 'not been linked to the two available patient samples or any other known infant illness.'
This tends to leave one wondering what the truth is. That is, until you see the map of the worst shortagesAbbott phone representatives have also been telling parents the FDA is 'holding back' metabolic formula made during the recall period, which is why the current supply hasn't gone out, Politico reported.
The FDA, disputing the company's allegations, issued a statement to the newspaper on Saturday reading: 'The FDA has not delayed the release of any specialty and metabolic infant formula products and the agency strongly disagrees with this characterization of events.

Cloward Piven. Overwhelm the system, then replace it with a more suitable one. Suitable for the commies in charge.
My friend you must ignore the ugly comments. I will never expect decency from freepers again. It appears most who posted lack even one drop of the milk of human kindness so how could they possibly understand any of the challenges of a nursing mother. I pray they read what they have written again and have a change of heart. The majority seem extremely angry about things they deem more important than the starvation of an infant. That’s right. How bitter can the right become? Well just read some of the purposefully hurtful, ignorant condemnations heaped on the heads of women who they’ve never met. These are not women who chose abortion. They are following instructions from pediatricians. Allergies can be life threatening for some of these infants. Most likely their children were born before newer information came to light. Working mothers and breastfeeding are almost impossible and the rest of her family needs her to work so she can feed the others.
I’m aware that breastfeeding is best. I did it myself and had no problem, but there are plenty of women who CAN’T. Inverted nipples, lack of production, whatever. Just tired of this trite answer every time a thread is posted on this subject.
Totally agree. I am seriously alarmed by what is going on, and am preparing accordingly. I actually checked the baby aisle in my local Winco yesterday just to see, and the shelves were bare. This is NOT GOOD.
I don’t understand why this Abbot and FDA story is nowhere in the media.
I think it’s starting to gain traction. I’m seeing more and more about it. Actually saw something about it from King5 on facebook, a local station here in the Tacoma/Seattle area. You just can’t keep something like this under wraps. Too many babies out there and panicked parents.
Agreed! My son had surgery right after he was born and was hospitalized for four weeks. I pumped and froze my milk for him when they pulled the feeding tube, but he never latched on. I was able to get a nice pump through the hospital, and did it for months but even then it was not enough and we had to supplement with formula.
So many different situations, and some people are pretty callous.
bttt
I’m not sure...haven’t researched it, though I would imagine they would be fairly similar. I’m 100% sure without even looking that you can create a much healthier version of either yourself though. The processed junk that goes into those things isn’t fit for human consumption at any age, IMHO.
Unfortunately the CDC hasn’t done jack to achieve their goal of “do more”.
Case in point... dairy farmers have hormone shots for cows with production or letdown issues. Do ob/gyn or pediatricians have something they can offer mothers? It’s not like we don’t understand the hormonal science or not like other countries don’t have medications approved for lactation purposes.
The FDA has approved nothing, ever and it’s illegal to sneak it in from Canada.
Your source is completely corrupt and complicit, no matter what they announce is best. We all know what’s best, but still even the best laid plans of mice and moms, do often go awry.
No, the caloric needs of a child is different than that of an adult, so are many other nutrient needs.
Adult shakes will make your child fat and maybe diabetic.
