All Part of Putin’s Plan.©️
It’s Moldova “up next”...
Didn’t Russian say one of their goals was to neutralize the Ukrainian military? Then independence for Luhansk and Donetsk? Kharkiv is not in those regions. Do you all think this is a hit and run operation to wear down the Ukrainian military?
Interesting analysis. Thanks.
No people like us know what the F##ck is going on.
Sir David Attenborough’s take on the situation:

It is a retreat out of the Kharkiv Front. Plain and simple. They are tapping out in the part of the war and pulling back behind their own border.
well if they are gonna lob nukes in there it would make sense to get your guys out.
Putin really wants this in his legacy. He wants to use some nukes. No question about it.
Rossiya stronk
Its all about logistics. Now that the Russian Navy is being harassed effectively the Russians cannot supply their troops with fuel, ammunition and replacements in southeastern Ukraine. Apparently they are having great difficulty resupplying across land borders with Ukraine. Simply put Russian troops in Ukraine are becoming more combat ineffective daily. Hard to maintain morale in such circumstances.
IMHO 1russia cannot win. However it is a made mistake for Western leaders to not pursue a diplomatic settlement but to totally humiliate Russia. A desperate Putin just might in his tormented state ( his career and almost all he accomplished leading Russia away from the Communist debacle has been destroyed) Desperate men often do irrational things. He just might deploy tactical nuclear weapons and risk the end of the world.
It may just be that reality is catching up with the Russian army. I’m reminded of medieval air knights on horseback. Very powerful at first, but if you goad them into a long attack in the hot sun, they and their horses become exhausted and dehydrated and they can be slaughtered.
And now they have to face all this NATO weaponry.
IF Russian morale collapses and the Ukrainians have plenty of morale ....
It appears a lot of the Russian recruits see the reality and don’t see the reason for why they’re doing this to Ukraine
In marked contrast to the propoganda view believed by many of Putin’s fans on here.
Putin was trying to annex Donbas and the other breakaway region initially, but he overextended himself by trying to collapse the Ukriane government.
Oil and Gas cut this morning to Europe. Europe 3-6 months/18 months away from replacing the energy from Russia with another souce(s).
Putin has signaled that weapons of mass destruction are on the table. It is entirely possible that by withdrawal of his forces from direct contact with Ukraine/Western military assets that tactial nukes or other large Kill-A-Ton weapons are going to be deployed.
From what I’ve read all sources, is that Russia has lost 25K killed and wounded, and that the Ukraine has 50K killed and wounded.
Donbas will be in Russian hands free from 8 years of Ukrainian artillery attacks when this ends.
Biden has yet again advanced the Green Agenda with less natural resources reaching markets while providing no replacement capacity’s.
About the word ‘BTG’
Orcs do not use that contrivance. And is totally at odds with reality.
Things as they are below.
The Make Up of Orc Mechanized Brigades:
None of the smaller divisions are even close to Western unit make up (totally forget the “BTG” terminology - a Western construct).
For instance: there are 2 kinds of Mechanized Infantry Brigades, each with a different, but similar, make up. Call them Type A and Type B.
Type A has 2 tank battalions (~60 T-72 tanks), 2 Infantry battalions, Engineer battalion, Recon battalion, 2 Self -Propelled arty battalions (could be up to 3 battalions), MLRS (Grad) battalion, AA battalion, Comm battalion, UAV battalion (Orlon-10), Sniper battalion, and Support battalion. It is largely self-sufficient.
Type B has 3 infantry battalions (mixed as A& B below), 1 Tank battalion.
Infantry battalions in each Brigade are of two types, call them A & B.
A has ~540 troops, 49 BTR-82s, 8 120MM Mortars, 6 AGS-17s, 15 AT missile. 3 SPG-9s. 3 companies of about 109-110 troops.
Fighting force about 300 troops.
B has ~460 troops, 42 - BMP-2s, 8 120mm mortars, 6 AGS-17s, 15 AT missiles, 3 SPG-9s. 3 companies of 91 troops.
Fighting force about 270 troops.
Troops on the frontline are never more than half, but more like 40%
Hope this helps clarify things ...
Diagram is out of date and wrong on many counts. There is no such thing as a Russian BTG.
