While appearing at an event to raise money for Republican candidates in Kerrville, Texas, Logan was asked by an audience member what happened to her job at Fox News.
Logan replied that she got the axe when she compared Dr. Anthony Fauci to a notorious Nazi war criminal.
"I was on a show, I think it was with Pete Hegseth, who's a great person," she began. "And Anthony Fauci had just done an interview with Margaret Brennan at CBS... and she asked him about the criticism he was getting, and he said, 'Well, I am science, so anyone who questions me is questioning science.' So I was asked about this on this Fox show and I said, 'A lot of people I talk to, they don't see Fauci as science, they see him more as Dr. Joseph Mengele."
This remark drew cheers from the audience.
Logan then acknowledged that the comparison of Fauci to a doctor who ran horrific experiments on people in concentration camps gave "an opening" for people to pressure the network to fire her.

The commercials are about business development, and boxing in recalcitrant doctors. Big Pharma doesn’t spend the kind of money it spends merely, or even primarily, to inform potential drug consumers. Ask Fox if it has been captured by Pfizer. If they are being honest, they will answer, yes.

Wally, that comment is shameful. We all see that she is very beautiful, but her intellect and courage are far more powerful than her attractiveness.

Somehow it seems unlikely that the conspicuous and abundant commodity to which you are referring will remain conspicuous, and abundant. Perhaps not on the cable channel in question, but somewhere at least. Or multiple somewheres.

In the Florida companies where I worked there was, in general, a strict protocol. You called someone in and talked about whatever deficiency and then agreed on a corrective action plan which had some suspense date. Then you called them in and discussed and documented what had happened according to the plan. Then, if they hadn’t done or had violated whatever previous plan they’d signed, we’d walk them down to HR and it was all handled as part of a process. If that’s the process you follow, it’s pretty hard to “lie” about it.
But what no sane company would do is fire someone without some process and documentation. What that is in this case probably won’t come out without a lawsuit. Sane companies are loath to say or release anything to the press regarding someone’s termination. Having said that, I have seen individuals in a company do some incredible things. One manager fired someone while telling him in front of witnesses that he was just too old for the job. (That was one ugly lawsuit.)
To answer your question, companies do not, in general, say why they are firing you.
Could somebody in the company have said, “Yeah, we’re firing you because you have a MAGA bumper sticker.” Whoever did something like that needs to be fired. Likewise here, yes it’s a possibility her story is true. But if that was the reason the company best keep it quiet.
News ‘reporters’ should actually keep their opinions to themselves.

That’s where things have gone sideways.
Companies or organizations of any size no longer possess a shred of integrity along the lines of what one would expect to find, for example, in a confirmed Catholic adult man.
Hence the profusion of “pretextualusm” in HR, any counseling or disciplinary process in which HR has a hand, and the termination process.

Lara Logan is one of the few people I will listen to. First, I love her accent, but more importantly she’s usually spot on in her reporting and very truthful. Faux News, once again, does the wrong thing which is why I never watch it.
I have noticed that in recent years, there’s been a heck of a lot of advertising for pharmaceuticals. Way too much, especially in the evening prime-time hours.
And I do watch way too much tv…
