Bill Gates’ New Book Is More Worthy of Study By A Student Of Abnormal Psychology Than A Public Health Official

It’s interesting and weird for a few minutes. But you gradually come to realise that he is actually crazy. His main point is wrong and so his solutions are wrong too, Brownstone Institute wrote of Bill Gates’s new book ‘How to Prevent the Next Pandemic’.

The main theme is implied in the title. With enough money, intelligence, and power, along with technological know-how at the helm, the next pathogen to come along can be stopped in its tracks. Where the bug goes after that he never explains. Presumably, it just disappears. Like a computer virus, it exists but doesn’t ruin your hard drive.

What are the historical examples of such a thing? There are none via avoidance, testing, contract tracing, and control of the human population. This theory of virus control – the notion that muscling the population makes a prevalent virus shrink into submission and disappear – is a completely new invention, the mechanisation of a primitive instinct.

Eradication is not the same thing as perpetual pathogenic avoidance. The former is great but the latter is deeply dangerous: the only thing more dangerous to human life than governments is a naive immune system. Gates’ plan, even if it had a chance of working which it does not, could create exactly that. Not to understand the difference is an egregious intellectual error.

Steve Jobs and Gates were sometimes collaborators and always rivals. Jobs may have actually been the more normal of the two, strangely enough.

So Gates strongly believes billions in taxpayer funds should be pumped into an industry he just coincidentally happens to be heavily invested in.

One doesn't need a book to recognize a multi-billionaire psycho. BTW, how many trees did this global-warming alarmist destroy to publish his books?

“heavily invested in”

Probably more important point is that which he is psychologically and experientially invested in - being the ‘smartest guy in the room’ for decades, feted and worshiped by everyone around him.... Of course he’s damaged, and probably thinks he knows “how to fix” everything, with the limited tools that he’s been familiar with.

The guy’s a rich loon, and they do get the pass, unfortunately.

Yup.
Gates bas been crazy for quite a while.
And he is totally consumed with jealousy of Elon Musk. He even took stock options against Tesla even as Musk was trying to buy Twitter, while at the same time demanding that Musk hold discussions with him about giving money to charity.
What a slimeball.

Should we be sad or glad that he dropped out of college?

I mean, if he stayed in would he be smarter, or would that make him more dangerous? Asking for a friend.

Well, Bill Gates is known as a leading expert in virology, epidemiology and public health. He’s also considered an expert in education, especially pedagogy.

Exactly how he is portrayed in the media - and they wouldn’t lie to us, right?

So everyone need to listen to him and the government needs to enact his ideas, even if they may not work.

Neither one was really an innovator though. Both were salesmen at heart, with Jobs being more of the visionary type, good at inspiring others to invent things he could sell, and Gates being more of the ruthless bandit type, good at stealing things from others to sell and getting away with it.

I think Jobs was an innovator, but not a technician or engineer. He did have a vision of what he a a device should do, and how the public could use it, and then relied on others to make a computer, iPod, iPhone, etc, to make it happen. Originally, he used Wozniak to make the first Apple computers, then the Mac team, then multiple teams and Ive for the later devices. But in each case, it was his concept that was turned into consumer devices.

Yup.

Coincidence isn’t causation except when it blatantly is.
