You know whats sad? Some of my favorite audio gigs in the entertainment industry were in the college circuit touring with comedians—late 70’s-mid 80’s. It used to be a very busy and great paying circuit which helped launch many well known comics as well as provided a good living established artists. Thanks to our liberal brothers and sisters, that whole circuit is completely gone. You will be lucky if you ever find any type of comedian touring colleges these days. It’s quite sad to those of use who admired the art those folks entertained us with.
These campuses have turned their populations into a bunch of wusses who are unable to laugh at their past, their mistakes, and themselves, people who are so easily offended and hurt that they can barely function in the real world.
He made it to #2 behind Lionel Richie, pretty good for an actor. Bruce Willis made it to #5.
That's not what the humor of the Garret Morris skit is about. The anti-white screed is so over the top that the humor is how racist some blacks are, not how funny violence against whites are. In effect, it's not a pro-racism skit it's an anti-racism skit.
It's much like Blazing Saddles. That movie has so much ridiculous over the top racism against blacks that it makes racist whites look stupid, not blacks look stupid.
I think that it's evidence of a bad song that aged poorly, no matter how high it made it on the charts.
But Eddie's rendition of James Brown's Too Hot in the Hot Tub showed his singing range.
Chico Esquela was classic.
If you want to waste more than an hour of your time then watch "Cop Out" the absolutely worst and least funny cop buddy film of all time.
I've heard rumors that the only reason Tracy Morgan lasted so long is because he was the coke distributor for the writers.

I thought this particular skit was funny. Plus I like the song.
That’s kinda why I posted this. There’s just nothing funny about what’s going on now. When comedians try to make jokes about it, it all ends up being sort of macabre.
I had to transcribe a “comedy” routine not too long ago. It was a gal in a night club in Denver. There was a good-sized crowd. On the video, she was showing - for example - trappers skinning fur animals while she was telling “jokes.” One of the jokes involved her - not making this up - putting a hot dog in her v4gina, then taking it out a couple of minutes later and eating it.
The laughter from the crowd - again, it was a decent-sized crowd - was spotty and not very enthusiastic. Like someone was holding a gun to their heads.
The humor revolves around it being a parole board hearing. And obviously this guy isn’t going to get paroled. He gets restrained and forced back into his cell. So no Whiteys actually had to die.
LMAO!!
One doesn’t dare to laugh at something like this today. Or even think about it.
