Most of us that studied (actual) history in high school knows the story of how our Constitutional Republic came to be.
According to history, the Colonists in Boston were tired of paying exorbitant taxes to King George for basic things such as tea and other necessities. They were tired of living under the thumb of the monarchy with hardly (if any at all) representation, and simply put, it was tough times back in 1775 in New England.
Today, he would be called a “right-wing loon.” Today, he would be labeled as an insurrectionist, purveyor of tin-foil-hat messages, and likely be called a racist on top of everything else. Sam Adams was anything but. He was tough as nails, and he was a visionary. At least, that is what history tells us.
We now know that Sam went to his brother John (who was a highly respected Attorney in Boston) and began organizing what arguably is the most outstanding achievement in our nation’s history. John went back to the Colonial Congress, began politicking, and ultimately convinced the other Colonies to join in, and now we had our rebellion against the monarchy.
So, who was this madman who decided that a group of ragtag farmers, shop keepers, farriers, and even preachers could take on the mightiest army and navy the world had ever seen at that time? We know that he owned a tavern (bar). We know that he was loud and quite confrontational as well as controversial. For anyone who would listen, he would explain the virtues of freedom in (shall we say) a very patriotic and “in your face” manner. In the end, one bartender from Boston started what would become the beacon to the free world of freedom, liberty, self-reliance, and the global defender of the oppressed across the planet.
Some 245 years later, what Sam, John, Thomas, George, and so many others started, is on the verge of failing. What these brave warriors and visionaries sought, fought for, and almost lost everything for their efforts is very near to becoming a story in history books. The story will likely be titled “The Rise and Fall of the United States of America, and How it Happened.”
The question now becomes, “can it happen again?” Can we find that one person who can motivate, educate, and rally a mob to take a nation once again and restore her to her glory years? Or, are we destined to become a footnote a thousand years from now in a history book?
A powerful argument can be made that we have that person with us today. This man spends nearly every waking hour speaking, educating, motivating, and fighting for the America we all once knew. He flies to give speeches at no cost to the organizer (Many times it is at his own expense). He travels to play the National Anthem on his beloved Gibson guitar. He then usually preaches a fire and brimstone patriotic message that has crowds in a frenzy when he is finished. In fact, he is so busy fighting for our nation that he has to have a full-time scheduler on the payroll just to keep him on track for the next duty. His days are filled with television and radio interviews, and his evenings are spent doing podcasts.
Unless you have been residing on a South Seas island with no communication to the outside world for the past 50 years, then you have undoubtedly heard the name, Ted Nugent. Where Ted was once a long-haired, hard rock and roll playing star with throngs of followers, today he is a 72-year-old fire-breathing patriot with a message for the masses.
Daily Ted faces the venom and toxic hatred from the liberal sympathizers across our land. Yes, he made a few mistakes in a long musical career. He gave some interviews and quotes that he probably should not have given, and he wrote some songs that would likely not be published by today’s standards. However, one must remember that he was young, and he did not have much guidance in the fields of publicity. In addition, this was the 1970s where it was free love, drugs, rock, and roll, and few, if any, really cared. If you doubt, simply read some of the lyrics from Led Zeppelin, Jim Morrison, and the Doors, or a long list of other famous 70s stars.
At the age of 72, most people having earned millions in their recording careers would be playing golf, living in a gorgeous mansion in a resort community, and calling it a day by walking on a beach with their poodle. Not Ted Nugent! Ted is not slowing down. Today he is on a mission. He is on a mission to mobilize the masses through outreach, such as the organization he belongs to known as Hunter Nation.
Ted’s mission of teaching America (or reminding America) that hundreds of thousands paid the ultimate price for freedom, liberty, and the American dream, is now under a full-blown assault by the leftist communist. He speaks of how they want to trash the Constitution, strip you of your rights to own firearms, silence your voice on our streets, control the media (they essentially do already), and subjugate our sovereignty to the United Nations. His passion in his speaking is done with authority, strength, and a very accurate acumen of the subject matter. He speaks as well as any Southern Baptist MiniThe question now becomes, can this former rock and roll firebrand rally America. God knows we need someone too. It seems as if the conservative right-side (of the political spectrum) has all but given up. Between voter fraud, and social media silencing our voices, our side seems to have fallen prey to apathy. Not if Ted Nugent has anything to say about it.
Nugent has become a one-man wrecking ball for the liberal media. They cannot stand him, and my belief is if the leftist communist propaganda machine hates you, then you’re doing something right. Can Ted take his millions of fans and turn them into the modern-day Continental Army? Only time will tell.
Nobody knows if “Uncle Ted” is the modern-day Sam Adams, but if he is not, he is undoubtedly on his way to becoming his distant relative. Keep up the good work, Ted; America needs you!ster would, and he possesses historical knowledge rivaling most college history professors.
Out of curiosity, does anyone know how much Nugent bagged on the auction of his guitar, gun, vehicle and memorabilia collection a couple of years ago?
I love watching his Nugefire on youtube.
One of the good guys!
The local rag used to feature an editorial by Uncle Ted every Sunday. When they dropped him, I dropped them.
Doubt that any of the Founding Fathers would approve of a song titled “Wang Dang Sweet Poontang”.
Maybe Cat Scratch Fever?
Uncle Ted,
Kill it Then Grill it!
Only one man can, YESHUA!
Cahrley Daniels, rest his mighty soul, was another musician who ‘got it’. I’m a few years older than Ted, but I say without hesitation, I will not submit to the tyranny the federal hydra is legislating for our demise.
