GDP!!! "Unexpectedly" it turned, step by step, lower and lower.....
Have you ever noticed how much of the media employs the word "unexpectedly" in regards to the economy? When there is a Republican in the White House the word is used when the economy improves beyond projections as happened soon after the COVID lockdown in June 2020 when the Financial Times reported that "Unemployment rate in US falls unexpectedly to 13.3%."
However, now that we have a Democrat administration, the term is used to describe what happens when economic conditions get worse, much worse such as when it was reported on Thursday that the U.S. gross domestic product contracted by an annualized rate of 1.4% for the first quarter of 2022. As a result we have "unexpectedly" bursting out all over in the media such as at Yahoo! Finance which reported that "US GDP unexpectedly contracted at a 1.4% annualized rate in Q1":

KEYWORDS: bideneconomy; blogpimp; economy; gdp; unexpected; unexpectedly
You don't even have to read an entire article to know how the economy is doing. If "unexpectedly" appears in the headline during a Republican administration, then the economy is doing very well. However, if "unexpectedly" appears in the headlines during a Democrat administration, then the economy is going in a very lousy direction.
Expect a lot of "Unexpectedly" in the headlines during the next couple of years.

I don’t really want to talk to or have a relationship with anyone who votes for Democrats - including relatives.

I don’t really want to talk to or have a relationship with anyone who votes for Democrats The problem lies in the type of relationship they want to have with you.

We r so tird of hearing these DemonRats and how much money they are stealing with their budgets.
You would probably think that someone cares.
This guy Obama is sure looking like the POTUS to us and that has a raw taste to the Biden and his staff of no good for nothing folks.
I will bet that Obama is reason enough to just look at the administration and say Obama again as POTUS.
They used it extensively upon any good news during Bush. I don’t remember if they did so much during clinton, but massively during obunghole

Looks like the keyword that used to be tagging “unexpected” economic stories was hijacked by covid antivax posters.
