The police did not respond to journalists’ calls for help but instead removed a journalist at the request of the event’s antisemitic organizer.
For the past several days, antisemitic Muslims rioted and attacked police during anti-Israel demonstrations in Berlin, Germany. One hundred sixty police officers were on duty. Stones were thrown, and dozens of journalists were attacked and injured. Police chose not to assist the attacked journalists but instead ejected them from the event. In a statement after the violent demonstration, the organizer “Palestine Speaks” claims they are not aware of journalists or observers’ violent and abusive treatment.
“Palestine Speaks” supports the fundamentally antisemitic Boycott, Divestment, and Sanctions movement (BDS), which wants to destroy the Israeli economy with boycott efforts and presents itself as a “coalition for Palestinian rights and against all forms of racism.” The association presents itself as a partner of a left-wing, anti-capitalist, anti-imperialist, and anti-racism milieu, using leftist tactics and language to cloak its essentially military intentions of the destruction of Israel.

The slogan “From the river to the sea, Palestine will be free,” which was often called out on Saturday, also calls for the annihilation of Israel. The river means the Jordan River, which runs east of Israel’s territory, and the sea means the Mediterranean Sea, which borders Israel to the west.

The Germans are intelligent. They restricted Turkish Muslim immigration in the mid-1990s.
