The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) today released new data showing a total of 1,237,647 reports of adverse events following COVID vaccines were submitted between Dec. 14, 2020, and April 15, 2022, to the Vaccine Adverse Event Reporting System (VAERS). VAERS is the primary government-funded system for reporting adverse vaccine reactions in the U.S.
The data included a total of 27,349 reports of deaths — an increase of 373 over the previous week — and 222,836 serious injuries, including deaths, during the same time period — up 2,971 compared with the previous week.
Excluding “foreign reports” to VAERS, 807,242 adverse events, including 12,566 deaths and 80,170 serious injuries, were reported in the U.S. between Dec. 14, 2020, and April 15, 2022.
Foreign reports are reports foreign subsidiaries send to U.S. vaccine manufacturers. Under U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) regulations, if a manufacturer is notified of a foreign case report that describes an event that is both serious and does not appear on the product’s labeling, the manufacturer is required to submit the report to VAERS.

Could you please tell us the lot numbers and makers of your four shots?. They’re listed on your vax card. Since you got the good stuff you might help someone else by letting us know. Thanx in advance.
If it were 90% of the deaths occurred within 24 hours, would you be concerned about the safety of these vaccines?
Not if that was the only indicator. VAERS is completely self reported and as such subject to all kinds of biases.
Plus, every death reported to VAERS is investigated by the CDC and FDA. To date they've only identified nine that they feel were caused by the vaccines, and they were all J&J.
What would concern me? If there was evidence of more adverse events in the vaccinated than in a similar population of the unvaccinated. I've seen no evidence of that.
It would also be a red flag if we saw a significant increase in the rate of these events since Covid vaccinations started, but I haven't seen that either.
If it were 99% of the deaths occurred within 1 hour, would you be concerned with the safety of these vaccines?
It would depend on what caused the deaths. Was it an accident? Suicide? Death from a long-standing medical condition? All of those are supposed to be reported to VAERS even if it's known the vaccine had nothing to do with the death.
And it's not like they aren't investigated.
Every death is reviewed and to date nine have been attributed to the J&J vaccine. That's it.
So, no, a VAERS anomaly like that would make me curious and want to look for more information but by itself wouldn't make me doubt the vaccines. You gave an extreme example but there are lots of possible reasons for reporting oddities like that.
Now if the investigators decided the deaths were vaccine-related and we started seeing higher levels of certain types of deaths in the vaccinated than in the unvaccinated, I'd be justifiably concerned.
99 people die within 1 day of receiving the vaccine. 1 dies some time after that. I’m going to suspect the vaccine caused almost all of the deaths, if not all of them. I don’t need the FDA or the CDC to reach that conclusion.
A long time ago, I dropped a tropical fish into a new aquarium. It swam funny for a few seconds, but swam no more. I thought, how strange, maybe there was something wrong with that fish.
I dropped a second fish in to that same aquarium. This one also had a quick demise. It was then that I realized there was something wrong with that aquarium. (The water was too cold).
It took me 2 dead fish to figure out something was wrong. The FDA and the CDC have tens of thousands of deaths, and hundreds of thousands of adverse events as evidence there is something wrong. They have deaths and adverse events occurring shortly after vaccination as evidence. They have more adverse events occurring than for other vaccines, using the same reporting system, as evidence.
Not sure what your point is. The etiology of rabies is well understood. A rabies infected dog or cat that presents clinical signs can infect a human.
You can trust your gut over the hundreds of medical professionals at the FDA and CDC who review medical histories, autopsies, etc. I don't.
99 people die within 1 day of receiving the vaccine. 1 dies some time after that.
But we don't know that and VAERS can't tell us.
There is no proactive follow up on the vaccinations so we don't know how many people died some time after that. All we know is what was reported to VAERS and that reporting is subject to all kinds of biases.
More importantly, we don't track a similar population of the unvaccinated to see how many deaths occurred there. I suspect the death rate in the vaccinated is no higher than in the unvaccinated - we certainly don't have any evidence that it is - so I'm not sure what the supposed problem even is.
This one also had a quick demise. It was then that I realized there was something wrong with that aquarium.
What if you had also dropped two fish in another aquarium with warmer water and they had died too? Would you have reached the same conclusion?
I promise you there have been many, many deaths in the unvaccinated population. Probably as many as in the vaccinated.
If you had as many fish die in the warmer aquarium as in the cooler one you probably wouldn't blame the water temp.
If we have as many people die without the shot as with it I wouldn't blame the shot.
If you read the thread you might understand.
I have. Just think rabies is not a good comparison. Rabies is 99.99% fatal once clinical symptoms present.
I can’t help you. You don’t understand the analogy.
No I don’t - oh well!
The article states that 21% of the VAERS deaths occurred within 48 hours. In your post 8, you were not overly concerned by this information.
I took this information to an extreme of 99% of the deaths within 24 hours. It looks like you would be trying to compare this population to an unvaccinated population. Or trying to find another aquarium that kills fish almost instantly.
Am I comfortable saying that 21% of the deaths happening quickly proves it’s the vaccine? No. The math is hard, the data is dirty. But we should be doing it.
