Oh. OK. So you are shooting off without knowing any facts. First, not Desantis but little Rubio is the target of my ire. He has proposed and has been passed by the House in its COMPETES bill, an amendment to the Lacey act that will ban all animals of all types from transportation into or between states except those on a designated list of approved species. Of the 20,000 animals now in the pet trade about 100 will likely be approved. Cats and dogs are excluded for now.
