Yeah... good link.
I have a dog. This particular dog is pretty smart compared to others in the species. It’s obvious. I say no 1,500 times and the dog learns that she shouldn’t sit on the table.
I had another dog, different species, and told the dog no 10,500 times and dog still couldn’t figure it out.
It’s sad, unfortunate, and I wish it wasn’t so. But it’s so.

Same here.
Had a mutt I took off the pound’s hands and it was incredibly obedient. Bought some pure bred AKC thing my wife insisted on and the it was dumber than a doorknob.

The Seattle Times recently had a story about a grisly murder. The murderer called 911 to report his crime. The 911 audio clearly shows he murdered in the name of Allah. But the Times said something like “the motive is unclear.” 😡
