Happy Friday, dear Kruiser Morning Briefing friends. Cranberries in a tophat are a delight known only to the people of the plains.
Today we’re hitting some things that I’d rather not have to write about, yet feel that I must. The future of this great country is at stake, after all.
We had a couple of “senior moment” stories yesterday involving people in the upper echelons of power in this country. It’s not pretty, but it can’t be ignored. Those of us here on the reality-based side of the aisle are duty-bound to acknowledge when things are amiss.
The first story involves Senator Dianne Feinstein of California, who it often seems has been in the Senate since Andrew Jackson was president. Actually, she has been in office since winning a special election in 1992.
It would appear that the senior — no pun intended — senator from the Golden State is not quite as sharp as she used to be, which Robert Spencer wrote about yesterday:
Hunter Biden is just the tip of the iceberg: it’s lucrative to be a politician today, even if your father isn’t playing the role of president of the United States. There are innumerable ways in which our elected representatives can grow rich while doing the bidding of some powerful group, all perfectly legal: astronomical advances for books that hardly anyone will read, similarly inflated speaking fees, and much more. What was once known as the public service has become so remunerative that it’s no wonder that politicians are clutching to power as they never have before in American history. Washington is now top-heavy with the Geritol set, and it doesn’t look as if that’s going to change anytime soon.

Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth is turning 96. He mind is sharp but the body is winding down. God bless the Queen.
I remember that article and was horrified at the percentage of psych meds that are delivered to politicians in DC.
Apparently when Feinstein is speaking, she introduces herself several times during her speech, forgetting that she already did. Beck was just talking about this.
End the 17th amendment.
BINGO!!! Believe me she will not be the only one.
I think I remember that article. Don’t remember if the meds were the focus of the article or merely part of the story.
Looks like only ONE, Joe is doing a bang up job.
Diane to Lindsey Graham regarding the Barrett confirmation hearing. “One of the best hearings I have participated in” along with a hug, was the end of Feinstein. Democrats DO NOT give compliments to Republicans, EVER.
A distraction from dementia at the White House?
She was a good SF mayor. She’s needed back in city hall.
Ask their Chinese handlers, they all have one. Even the Republicans have them, Larry Hogan, Mitch McConnel to name a couple.
Our Senate looks like the old Kremlin — a bunch of glassy-eyed commie cootsters standing on the balcony watching the tanks roll by.
How Many Senile Democrats Does It Take To Ruin a Country?
ALL OF THEM.
Why? What could go wrong?
They easily overlook the fact that she is completely corrupt, and owned outright by the Chinese.
Same goes for Biden. And the Clintons. And most of DNC leadership.
They disappeared the article.
No, we need to repeal the 17th amendment. This would solve the problem overnight. The states were to have representation through their legislatures. It was a wonderful concept ruined by Wilson and his progressive ilk. The legislature would be more apt to replace their Senator when this type of monstrosity is occurring.
Kamala will step down and be appointed as a reward. Her schtick is easily understood by Californians, so this makes sense.
DIFI rolls over to 89 years old in two month...
June 22, 1933
She feels coloring her hair, fools us conservatives into believing she is much younger...we old hairdressers know that dark color as we age, makes us look OLDER...
