Yeah, I read the list expecting #1 to be “Right Here, Right Now”, and was disappointed.

In Living Color’s “Cult of Personality” could also be on the list.

I grew up during the cold war.
I grew up with this music.
I’m a Vietnam war era veteran
I was crawling around Nukes
when I was 18 years old.
I remember this - the Democrats
stabbed Americans in the back.
They still do and they will continue
to do so.
My favorite of the tunes?
Der Kommissar, Falco.

To close it out: Jesus Jones “Right Here, Right Now” from 1991.

Those rockers sure like "freedom," but I think they are as politically naive as any. Sting, for example. Celebrations of weakness and such: they know the class that gives them cash.

This was right about the time I was getting seriously into country music. I remember to this day the first country album I ever bought, Ray Price’s The Other Woman. It was so good to this day I still rank it in my Top 5 of all time. There was a song on there called This Cold War With You.
