Trump-supporting Representative Madison Cawthorn spoke today at the Trump Rally in Selma, North Carolina.
Cawthorn was paralyzed from the waist down in a car accident eight years ago in Florida. Since that time he has been in a wheelchair.
During his speech today Madison Cawthorn stood up from his chair and finished his speech. It was a remarkable moment. Madison then promised to investigate Dr. Tony Fauci for his crimes and impeach Joe Biden for his dereliction of duty. The crowd loved it!
When his speech was over he moved back to his chair and sat down by himself.

I tend to be suspicious of so-called perfect conservatives.
I tend to think they will screw us in the end, but the imperfect ones, if they are generally conservative and only liberal on or two points, are generally more integrous.

Uninformed statement. Paralysis comes in 1,000 shades, poorly understood by many. I’m a T12 incomplete and can stand, but only by holding on for dear life, otherwise, I will flop right over. I suspect Cawthorne has some leg muscles left, just not enough to stand unassisted, or to walk.

How could it be insurance fraud? If he was getting one over on an insurance company he sure as hell wouldn’t be standing up from his wheelchair in front of thousands of people unless he was really stupid which is quite possible I guess.

He didn’t stand on his own power. Two people raised him to his feet, and when he was “standing” his stiffened arms were bearing his weight on some medical device. When he was finished his two aides sat him down again.
