-Now, they're looking into potentially filing a lawsuit. -The high school runner was punched in the head during his 1,600m race last Saturday at the Tohopekaliga Tiger Invitational in Kissimmee, Florida.
-The athlete who threw the punch had earlier got in the way of the lead runner.
-After still obscuring the track, the runner pushed him out of the way.
-On the subsequent lap, the other athlete sucker punched the runner the face, knocking him over - he managed to get to his feet and complete the race.

Now, the family is considering filing a civil lawsuit against the other student and the track invitation event that hosted the race, their attorney says.
