Barely minutes into the 94th annual Academy Awards on ABC, the ceremony went obnoxiously woke.
The Oscars three unfunny hosts - Amy Schumer, Wanda Sykes and Regina Hall - introduced the show with a "joke" about the long-debunked "equal pay gap," then attacked white women using a Black Lives Matter (BLM) talking point.

Hollywood is lame and corrupt in its every aspect. STOP GIVING IT YOUR ATTENTION. STOP REACTING TO IT.
As rich and influential as these pathetic puds are, they need you. You don’t need them. If you stop paying attention to them, not only will your life improve - if only from having a couple of extra hours in each day that you DON’T spend watching TV or movies - but Hollywood will wither and die as it so richly deserves to.
One of my big regrets is that, like a lot of people here in the West, I used to spend a lot of time at the movies. Watching the LAMEST CRAP THAT EVER WAS and acting like I liked it because I liked the guy I was going to the movies with. And I’ve never been a keen TV watcher, but also wasted time watching this or that show - again, not because I liked it that much, but because it was something to do with a person I liked.
How I wish I could get all those hours of my life back.
Many of these actors and producers, etc, are openly, flagrantly evil to the core and they demonstrate it. They play these roles in which they portray characters of honor, decency, bravery - when they are capable of none of those things - and that’s how a lot of people see them. “Oh, what a great man he is!” Here and there you’ll find a play-actor who is an all-right guy but you know, no matter how decent he seems, he’s kissing up to fiends - like our friends in Scientology, the criminal cult that calls itself a church and gets a giant tax break - to keep his job.
People like to moan and complain about how bad and stupid TV/movie entertainment is these days. IT ALWAYS WAS BAD. Y’all sit and talk about how evil actors are and how poisonous the message of the typical Hollywood fare is today. THEY ALWAYS WERE EVIL. Now that you’re more aware of it, it’s TIME TO LET GO.
