This song was huge when it came out in 1990. The other song from around that time which was also huge was “Life is a Highway” by Tom Cochrane. To me, neither aged well, but they were sure fun to listen to at the time.
Great song, great voice, great baseline that ties it all together. The lyrics let the song down IMHO, they do showcase her voice but the simplicity and repetition make the entire song the reprise. It’s got a good beat I give it an 8 Dick.

She was SMOKIN’ hot. Loved her in this and yeah, I Still Got This Thaing For Her! Those reds shoes, hummina hummina
it’s bout Elvis.
I was at a campground across from Mission Bay, San Diego one 4th of July and somewhere else on the campground they were having karaoke. Some drunk chick must have sung this song 5 or 6 times.
Good song. And a bit of Radio trivia, Art Bell liked this song too.
It’s certainly better than ‘Betty Davis Eyes’, which I always thought was the dumbest song ever...
