Russian forces face mounting casualties among officers and increasingly frequent desertion and insubordination

Russian forces face mounting casualties among officers and increasingly frequent desertion and insubordination. The Ukrainian Ministry of Defense reported on March 19 that “some [Russian] naval infantry units” (unspecified which, but likely referring to Eastern Military District units deployed to the fighting around Kyiv) have lost up to 90% of their personnel and cannot generate replacements.[4] The Ukrainian General Staff reported at noon local time on March 20 that Ukrainian forces wounded the commander of the 346th Independent Spetsnaz Brigade and claimed that Ukrainian forces killed the commanders of the 331st VDV Regiment, 247th VDV Regiment, and the 6th Tank Regiment (90th Tank Division, CMD) at unspecified times and locations.[5] The General Staff reported the Russian Black Sea Fleet is replacing 130 insubordinate soldiers in the 810th Naval Infantry Brigade with paratroopers from the 7th Airborne Assault Division – a measure highly likely to cause greater unit cohesion problems.[6] The General Staff additionally reported that Russian forces are increasingly using ”outdated and partially defective equipment” to replace combat losses.[7]

The Ukrainian MoD reported that forced mobilization in the DNR has demoralized Russian proxy forces, with many refusing to fight and accusing Russian leadership of forcing them into combat to find Ukrainian troop positions. The Ukrainian Military Intelligence Directorate (GUR) reported the number of insubordinate Russian personnel who are refusing combat orders is “sharply increasing” in the Kherson and Mykolayiv oblasts on March 20.[8] The Ukrainian General Staff reported the Russian military commandant office in Belgorod City is investigating 10 Russian servicemen of 138th Motor Rifle Brigade who refused to continue fighting in Kharkiv and agitated for other Russian servicemen to abandon their posts.[9]

The Putin plan.
Possess a bombed out Ukraine.
Sell Russia’s natural resources to the ChiComs at 30% discount.

Yeah, I remember driving across Texas and it took me four
wee... ah wait a minute!

As for Vietnam, we had the North on their butt a number of
times, but as soon as we got them there, the same type
Leftist idiots we have today in Congress would call cease
fires.

The NVC would spend the next few weeks resupplying and
putting new troops in the field.

Then there was the Tet Offensive. We moped the floor with
them and Walter reported it out as our greatest loss, almost a route.

As for Afghanistan, I’m not sure we did a lot better. There
was at one point some rules of engagement that were pretty
lopsided in favor of our enemy.

I get your point, but Russia is not sweeping the Ukraine
like a first rate army should against a rag tag military.
You go in, take out the head, install your new government,
and move on. Let them deal with the guerillas.

And the Ukraine isn’t like Vietnam or Afghanistan.

“The 3rd world North Vietnam whooped our azz good in Vietnam.”

That is not how I see it. That war was lost on US tv screens and in Congress, not on the battlefield. A press with an agenda worked with the Democrats to spew their narrative of defeatism and anti-Americanism. Today, the media is cheerleading for Ukraine rather than making any attempt at objectivity. One again, they are pushing an agenda. But this time it is the NWO Deep State establishment agenda that both parties and the media are in lockstep with.

A lot of folks here don’t believe it, but the Russians are limited by their own rules of engagement.

For what it’s worth, a military report from a different source than Bill Krystal…

And I’m not vouching for your article or this one…

But some interesting comparison to Germany’s advance.

Everyone should realize who the “Instituted for the Study of War” is

The director’s sister-in-law is Victoria Nuland, architect of the 2014 Maidan Coup. Her husband and brother in law are brothers Frederick and Robert Kagan - flag-bearers of DC neocon ideology

They are funded by Brookings Institute and major US defense contractors. Their board also includes people like William Kristol

So read all their information with that in mind.

There is little doubt that Putin made a catastrophic, bad decision. He has undone in one stroke whatever progress he made rehabilitating Russia after nearly ninety years of cruel. murderous, vile communism. Yet it is probably wise to give a bewildered, desperate man with nuclear weapons an exit path and ease the path for new Russian leadership.

Perhaps you can tell me why Putin wants all these cities,
since his reason for entering the nation was to stop hose
Biolabs.

Why has he now captured all the beach front across 75% of
Ukrainian Black Sea area?

Just more of his humanitarian efforts I suppose. /s

Those 1.5 million refugees, I guess those were another
of his favors.

The 3rd world North Vietnam whooped our azz good in Vietnam

Simply not true. The US won every major encounter, and NV was on the point of surrender in mere days (according to NV Gen. Giap) when the US media propaganda, together with leftists and communists, succeeded in forcing the government to withhold aid and causing the fall of Saigon.
