Several 'chatter' threads on various boards about this tonight.
Summary:
1. Volunteers travel to Ukraine at their own expense to fight against Russia.
2. Guy shares picture showing he's at the Yavoriv International Center for Peacekeeping and Security with a bunch of other foreign nationals to enlist and train.
3. A friend of his decides to post the picture on Reddit for 'upvotes'....
4. Russians see the location and send in a cruise missile.
5. Barracks of 35 Ukrainian soldiers destroyed. Many killed.
6. Foreign nationals try to go back to Poland.

This is sub is the reason i didnt volunteer to be honest. Civillians with rifles and in combat are still civillians. Even after dudes graduate infantry school theres still a liability just on live fire and manuver ranges let alone a combat situation.
This is the second mass casualty event caused by some dipsh*t that wanted a selfie.
Reminds me when reporters in Gulf War II were broadcasting U.S. troop positions on their news shows.

For the record, I oppose the Russian invasion and hope - for the sake of the common Ukrainian citizen - this war ends soon with some peace agreement. The government of Ukraine has long been corrupt.
But after reddit booted off ‘the donald’ I do follow what they do.

Remember, he shared the picture (allegedly) privately with some friends who then reposted it so they could get the ‘upvotes’ bragging about their buddy.
It’s a news story for sure. That’s why I posted it.
One of the threads said the 35 that died were Ukrainian soldiers. No wonder they offered to bring the idiots back to the border.
There’s other chatter passports were cut up or people were told they couldn’t leave.
