Tonight I was geeking out on some of the weirdness regarding our border with Canada, and to me this looks really dumb. No scratch that, it looks REALLY F’ING STUPID. Check out the street view at this link:

There are hundreds of miles like this: two parallel roads in the middle of nowhere, one in Canada, one in the US, with no connection so that you’re forced to go through a border crossing. I’ve never been to Canada, but it seems to me that with border security this lax anyway, with no immigration or drug influx problem from Canada, there just has to be a better way. Because to me this just defies common sense.
