Much wants more and loses all
GEFIRA ^

The West could have further exploited Ukraine and teased Russia but it simply overplayed its hand. Precisely as described in this fable where a goose laying golden eggs is killed by the greedy owners. The moral? Much wants more and loses all. Now that Moscow is taking retaliatory steps like shutting down media outlets that propagated Western ideas and Western lifestyle the West has lost its ideological bridgehead inside Russia that it has held for thirty years. The West really thought it was ready to make a killing. Western elites really thought Russia would withdraw from its positions further and further; they really believed the Navalny kind of dissenters that the Russian people were all against the authorities. Worse, the West still thinks that Russians will force their president to surrender because otherwise common people will be stripped of the opportunity to eat hamburgers and cheeseburgers in McDonald’s restaurants! Sure, there are some such people who are ready to trade their country for cheeseburgers, but it is a splinter from the large whole. The majority accustomed to Russia’s greatness are not willing to sell this greatness. Plus, they are not attracted by the Western values of married homosexuals or the many sexes that are invented by the month. That’s also something that the post-West is not aware of. Remember also that millions of Russians have bitter recollections of the Yeltsin era during which western-style capitalism promised them well-being and brought poverty, unrest and humiliation instead. That’s one big reason why President Putin is appreciated by the vast majority of the population: he put an end to chaos and brought in stability. If you think Russians dream about homosexual parades in their cities or pregnant soldiers in their army or the many gender pronouns, you cannot be more delusional.

It’s worse for the Russian citizen. Overnight they are thrown into the old Soviet economy of bare shelves, no freedom of speech, rise of the gulags, thuggery on the streets by state police, and most of all no McDonald’s. The misery of living the old Soviet society has returned.

Ukraine is a criminal enterprise paradise for George Soros and globalists politicians and their evil spawn. For the people of Ukraine, not so much.

I went grocery shopping yesterday. The prices were horrible, Freezer cases empty of almost everything with signs from the store giving us their regrets.

I put gas in my car and couldn’t afford to fill it. I stopped at McDonalds and saw I was now paying almost ten dollars for fast food crap. I came home and read about Americans being held without charges because of their politics and my search engine decided to censor what I can read.

And you want to talk about Russia?

Just how much different is the USA from Russia, China or the socialist EU? Does anyone even talk about our Constitutional rights?

You've got a point there.

Just look at the Biden administration makeup. Look what is happening to the military.

“Now that Moscow is taking retaliatory steps like shutting down media outlets that propagated Western ideas and Western lifestyle the West has lost its ideological bridgehead inside Russia that it has held for thirty years.”

I shudder to think what our ruling class sees as “Western ideas and Western lifestyle.” I think they are probably not what they were at the beginning of the Cold War or even at the end of it. Hint: “Our values” are not Jesus and free markets anymore. Haven’t been for a while. The head of MI-6 described the state of things quite well.

These same clowns have now started to believe everything the MSM tells them about the war in Ukraine even knowing how much they have been lied to by this same MSM for the last few decades. As a matter of fact, they proudly post the propaganda as complete truth.

For maximum effect Tchaikovsky's March Slave should be played in the background while reading this propaganda.

For maximum effect click here first.

Overnight they are thrown into the old Soviet economy of bare shelves

Yes, I remember bare shelves during the Covid hysteria.

no freedom of speech

Gosh, I remember when America had free speech. Bygone days.

rise of the gulags

Ah yes, the January 6th protestors.

thuggery on the streets by state police

Yup, Antifa, BLM, and the FBI are a bad bunch.

and most of all no McDonald’s.

Unfortunately, that part hasn't yet come through. You can still buy their junk pseudo-food in my town.

The misery of living the old Soviet society has returned.

Huh? Oh, I'm sorry. I thought you were talking about the U.S.

All through the first cold war both sides managed the conflict carefully. The fighter plane idea was idiocy from every possible perspective. Not only was it an overtly hostile act that would have potentially resulted in deaths in Poland, but the idea itself was unworkable. Who would fly those planes? Where would they land? How would you handle the fuel and logistics? A fighter requires anywhere from a few dozen men on the ground crew to a hundred and those men require a warehouse full of parts that are perfectly arranged so they can be easily accessed.

As for more idiocy, I started watching what for about twenty minutes seemed a good analysis of the overall situation. Then, the speakers focused on the impact the war was having on Global Warming. They seemed to think that Putin and Zelenskyy really needed to focus, not on the physical and financial impact on their people, but on the impact their petty war was having on Global Warming. I rarely hit the dislike button, but I punched it and moved on.

As for companies supplying equipment to the war, you can expect to be attacked in ways that will hurt. You should disconnect from the internet and go back to other means of communicating. You should get ARMED guards and keep them on random schedules. You should start protecting your inputs and shipments. Otherwise, you’ll get hurt as fighting Putin is not going the way things are supposed to go according to thoughts in the teacher’s lounge.
