Yesterday the New York Times reported on U.S. intelligence and diplomatic officials from the State Dept sharing intelligence with Chinese officials in the three months leading up to the Russian invasion. {Go Deep on Analysis} The narrative from the article tells the story of the U.S. trying to convince China in December, January and February to intervene and persuade Russia not to cross the border into Ukraine.
Many people have looked at this story from the perspective of incompetence, ie. why would the Biden team think China would not share the intel, etc.
However, when it comes to these types of issues, never ascribe to incompetence that which can be explained by intent.
There’s every reason to believe what the Biden intelligence community and state department were sharing with China was done so with the intention of Beijing giving it to Moscow.
From that perspective the question around intent becomes, what did they push and why did they push it?

This is correct.
I just realized this: Ukraine is to Russia what Cuba was to the US in October, 1962.
Biden and his millions made off of corrupt Ukrainian officials along with hostile NATO actions forced Putin into taking this defensive action.
“If this is true, the traitorous Biden administration (everyone one of them) should be hung for treason.”
Hang on a second, we’re running out of room on the indictment document.
Sundance keeps peddling his theories premised on this fantasy that no country or party in the world has agency except our corrupt deep state.
He keeps digging a hole with his shallow and uninformed analysis.
There really are things going on this world that are not just deep state contrivances.
The peoples of Ukraine and Russia and other countries have their own history and motivations and desires and take actions they see in their own interest.
Yes the deep state is corrupt and manipulative. But everything in the entire world is not conjured up by them.
That's not Trump's style though. He is the most anti war president there is. His objective is always to make deals that are favorable to *him* (or the US), not engage in actual conflict, and he uses the threat of force only as a tool.
And (quite obviously ;>) if you're one of the amoral people who believe that, and there isn't a "serious crisis" when you need one - you just create one...
Those guys in US Intel are some real master baiters.
It’s ironic that Sundance has a US Rev War patriot as his logo but can’t see through his myopia that Ukrainian patriots are right now fighting and dying for self-government.
And screw with biden.
The other possibility is that the Biden spin team came up with this story to cover how monumentally stupid they were to think China was their pal and trust them with intel.
The globalist’s in the US cheering on Ukraine to “fight for their freedoms” are the same authoritarians in the West looking to remove our own freedoms, or hasn’t anybody noticed?
Biden is a nimrod, of course he didn’t think Putin would do it.
Deep state knew better....
Just like it’s obvious you don’t know what you’re talking about.
No one made Putin launch his filthy aggression.
“If it is intent, why not give the info directly to moscow?”
This is the way it’s done when you aren’t allies. Moscow more likely to believe China. Also, the more steps the info goes through, the more cover available, “That’s not how we said it”, “We withdrew that theory”, etc.
Baited... or told the truth ?
Miss Funpants only cares about blog traffic.
I should add that not only is he against engaging the US in wars, he is also against getting other nations involved in wars. He even offered to be a peace negotiator between hostile nations, such as India and Pakistan. He loves negotiating. That’s his thing.
Joe is a master baiter.
The US/Russia cold war is over.
The enemy of the West is China. And they're sneaky SOBs. It's government policy to lie to win the advantage. Anyone who trusts China is a fool.
Every Western nation should work to disentangle their manufacturing and dependence on China. If they don't the West is lost. That's not hyperbole.
An attempt at “plausible deniability” and ambiguity by the FJB regime.
