Vox senior politics correspondent Andrew Prokop is rather upset. Why? Because as he wrote, "Donald Trump may be about to escape legal peril yet again."
Prokop explains in more detail the reasons for being bummed out about Trump possibly escaping "legal peril again" on Wednesday in "New York investigation into Trump’s business looks imperiled after prosecutors quit."

Their Just-Us is like their Democrat-acy.
I’m betting that the prosecutors quit because you can’t speculate a crime and seize someones files to try and find one.
Their break fear is they aren’t coming up with anything big enough to preclude him from running in 2024.
God forbid Trump is innocent.

I wonder if it occurred Prokop that the prosecutes quit because they wanted no part of a fraudulent investigation.
The point of an investigation is to find out the truth. The facts.
So if you are depressed that the facts, the truth, do not show guilt then why would you be mourning?
Only because you were out to get the person. Vox is guilty of hoping to destroy an innocent man.
A number of full out The Seriousness of the Charges if We Accuse (but no charge is serious enough if you accuse) lefties over at Hannity not only swore that they would find something but it would stick. Had no problems with political prosecutions. They were the ones who would admit it … the “honest ones”.
I heard that they quit because Bragg wanted them to FRAUDULENTLY claim they had evidence that didn't exist in order to keep the grand jury going. They might have quit because they didn't want to be criminally charged with fraud.
Or maybe he/she was afraid that Trump's assassins were on the prowl.
They quit because the new Manhattan District Attorney does not support their investigation. The new DA is a BLM-type DA, so if he doesn't support it, it must mean that they've come up empty. There is no there there.
Well you could flip the script. A host of corruption on the dim side has never been judged either. They ain’t all honest because of that lack.
I have nothing to do with Vanity or his site. Never will.
Maybe reason three: Trump is not guilty and they can’t force or lawfare him in to admitting guilt (when he is not guilty) to keep from going broke.
When a normal person is ground under the full force of the Federal government it does not matter if they are guilty or innocent. When they have no money left, the defense attorneys go away, and they are stuck with the free legal defense.

And the old DA was Cyrus Vance Jr, who was after Trump. He left on New Year’s Eve.
If Vance thought he had a chance to nail Trump he would have run for re-election. That he didn't tells us his case was going NOWHERE.
The prosecutors did not just drop the case. They resigned and quit their jobs over this. Think about that for a minute. Prosecutors do not quit over small issues in big cases. Either their egos are so invovled they can’t handle being told to stop pursuing what is not there. Or there is no case, pursing it will cost their careers, and they want to get out.
President Trump must be the most HONEST man ever to hold public office. He has been investigated over and over and over again yet NONE of those investigations go anywhere
