It looks like Prime Minister Justin Trudeau just blinked big time in his fight with the Freedom Convoy over COVID mandates.
Trudeau is now backing down and has revoked the Emergencies Act that he called on Feb. 14, and that he just asked the House of Commons to pass on Monday. As we reported earlier, he needed approval from the nation’s Senate and it looked like a lot of the senators had big questions about passing it. I’m thinking it means that he got tipped that he wasn’t going to get it past the Senate, so it was better to revoke it rather than be embarrassed when they shot it down.
As we also noted , he was getting a lot of criticism from around the world, such as from the Romanian member of the European Parliament Cristian Terhes who called him a “tyrant,” and compared him to a Communist dictator.
The Emergencies Act measure included things like freezing people’s bank accounts for the ‘crime’ of donating 20 dollars to the Freedom Convoy, and conscripting tow truck drivers, forcing them to work for the government to clear out the protesters in Ottawa.

Trudeau now said that he no longer thought it was necessary because the standing Ottawa protests have largely been cleared out. But the standing protests had been largely cleared out on Monday, when he was pushing the measure to be passed in the House. “We are confident that existing laws and bylaws are now sufficient to keep people safe,” Trudeau said during a press conference.

Ping.
Yep. Takes after his father big time
May he end up like his pa’s old pal Ernesto...
I’m sure bank run is impressive, not over either.
Somebody made him an offer he could not refuse.
BUMP!
I see you, and raise you a BUMP!
And you sure as hell won't read about it in the MSM. That's how Panics used to start, back when we were still free.
Do you remember a run on the bank in your lifetime?
I’m 74 and don’t.
But there was a time it happened in this country. Long long ago in another era.
My creepy, crawly eyebrow enhancer obscured my vision...
Two days ago the little twerp was saying he was going to make some of the emergency act permanent. Now its never mind.
Trudope just may have had his own bank threatening to kick his accounts since the bank run was going to deplete funds rapidly.
If this was true, then why did the House of Commons pass it in the first place?
Calif no mask come this friday. Target, walmart, Amazon no masks. The democrats from what I have read have their polls showing a huge loss come Nov. They are hoping we all forget the plandemic.
Meanwhile the politicians are getting us involved in a war to distract us from their bribery and other crimes.
If you’d taken the time to read the article, you’d have seen a video of a Romanian member of the EU Parliament denouncing Trudeau and calling him a dictator.
My grandfather's uncle lost his farm, and all of his savings, bank had a run, and failed.
G'Great Uncle had to move in with his brother, outside of Jeff City, Mo., and help on his farm.
Family lore has it that he was always careless.
My Grand dad was already in school at U of Missouri, working for a degree in Electrical Engineering. Went on to Western Electric, and the Manhattan District. (Never talked about that. Just knew from the mailing addresses. Oak Ridge, Wendover, Hanford...)
I stand snarkily corrected.
I gotta admit, I did not realize the member of the EU Parliament is considered a world leader. I thought that title was reserved for heads of state.
Oh look! You are on the losing side of the Canadian public, worldwide leaders, and even the Canadian Senate!
Yes, my family survived that and many more disasters. And they remembered them. That is why Texas was solidly Democrat for 150 years. (note: my ancestors were never evil Communist idiots)
They are all gone now, but some remain who remember the stories handed down through generations. We have more old photo’s than any family I know. Sadly the stories (they were real) are largely dead with them.
I’m 74. My first wife (for 47 years) died in 2018. I married again 1-1/2 years ago and am starting over again. My son died 6 years ago. I still have a daughter and a grandson, they live on East Coast.
But the point? I have never witnessed a run on the bank, not in my lifetime. Yes, I have read about them.
Beginning with Obozo the USA has not had a real budget since he was in office, until Trump. And Obozo is still waist deep now in destroying the Nation. So far he has not been held accountable for his crimes and the ones he continues to commit.
Our monetary system has not been the same since Nixon’s Presidency.
footnote: I’ve been a Republican my entire life. Product of a university in Texas that was in the Panhandle and exposed me to the evil crimes the post WWII Democrats committed. Sadly, elements of the Republican Party are complicit in destroying the USA.
The only “good” communist is:
