Actually, the slowdown started last year. My son had connections to the mortgage industry and they saw it coming.
And it has not impacted the shortage of homes at this time.

I'm just curious (if your son happens to know the answer to this): what percentage of all-cash offers made on houses are from truly regular people and not investment firms such as Blackrock?
I have a hard time believing that there are that many families out there who can pay for a house in cash...
