I can't get excited about any of the candidates. At this point I'm for whoever has the BEST chance of defeating Lard @$$.

Richard Irvin may indeed be an uber-RINO and a closet RAT (I never heard of him described as the "Republican" mayor of Aurora until he decided to run for Governor), though I find it ironic the same people "warning" about him were the ones who laughed off legitimate warnings about Bruce Rauner's leftist history in 2014 (the Tea Party people who pimped him as a "reformer" who "can't be bought", then later claimed Rauner somehow "misled" them after he governed EXACTLY as he said he would)

Irvin's campaigns are pretty good, but meh, don't trust him.

I've just gotten completely cynical about this state electing ANYONE decent as Governor.
