The Wheeler School in Providence, Rhode Island, excluded white students from attending a guest speaker event, allowing only those who “identify as a student of color or multiracial” to attend.
In a February 7, 2022, email to sixth, seventh, and eighth graders, the school invited only non-white students to attend a “Students of Color affinity group” speaking event with actress and author Karyn Parsons, who is best known for her role as Hilary Banks in NBC’s The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air.

“Affinity group” is a pet name used by critical race theorists and other leftists typically for racial segregation. The term is also used for other forms of segregation based on “common identity characteristics,” as it places paramount importance on those attributes in order to justify excluding those with different characteristics from participating in activities.
According to parents and students at the Wheeler School, who reported their experience to Parents Defending Education (PDE), “white students at the middle school level were not allowed to attend.” At lower grade levels, the racial segregation was reportedly not observed.
Parsons responded to criticism on Twitter, but does not appear to have denied the racial segregation, justifying it by saying all the students could have met with her in the other sessions at which she presented.

I believe in segregation based only on merit. Not skin color, race, gender, religion, etc.
White students should demand an equivalent White Scholars Affinity Group.
It’s required now as the Left took control of the Accreditation Agencies for private schools, so if this school wants to be able to send people to colleges, they have to do as told.

Perhaps using passive voice, and esp. now with the OTHER nonsense going on, it invites people WHO IDENTIFY as “POC”.
Anyone these days can claim to be black.
Honestly they probably should do that as a type of civil disobedience. Overwhelm them with whiteness but can’t say anything cuz they’re what they want to be!

If these parents are dumb enough to pay $30,000/year for a grammar school run by woke morons, then they will accept whatever stupidity imposed on them and their kids.

You got to wonder what will happen when the chess club excludes black students. Or perhaps when the women’s swim team excludes male swimmers. Or the local Muslim women’s group excludes non-Muslims. Oh wait a minute, my woke handbook issued by the University will explain which is allowed and which is not.
