Roger Stone, a prominent ally of former President Donald Trump, attacked former Vice President Mike Pence in a Thursday post on the messaging platform Telegram, calling him a "disloyal POS."
Pence drew Trump's ire after he declined to go along with an unconstitutional effort to overturn the 2020 presidential election result on January 6, 2021. Trump on Tuesday called for Pence to be investigated for declining to help. In an official statement, the former president said House investigators should probe why Pence "did not send back the vote for recertification or approval" to the states, insisting that his vice president had "the right to do so."
Stone on Thursday shared a Substack article written by Emerald Robinson, titled The Treachery of VP Mike Pence Explained to his channel on Telegram. In the post, Stone, who was officially pardoned by Trump, attacked Pence.
"If you ever had any doubt whatsoever that former Vice President Mike Pence was a duplicitous, disloyal POS, this stunning article will remove any doubt. Pence and his staff of 'political advisors' were working to undermine President Trump [and replace him with Mike Pence] from day ONE," Stone wrote in the post.
Newsweek reached out to Pence's press representatives for comment but did not hear back in time for publication.

From Tuesday:
Trump says congressional investigators should examine why Pence didn’t reject electoral college results

“No Replies”
We will never know FOR SURE will we.
That Trump takes advice from Constitutional scholars Roger Stone and Mike Lindell should be concerning.
This is becoming such a fiasco that I am beginning to doubt a Republican will take the White House in 2024. I think even 2022 will be less good than we think.
How does that have anything to do with President Trump’s statement?
“Frankly there is almost no idea more un-American than the notion that any one person could choose the American president” - Mike Pence
One person here in Georgia like Stacey Abrams? That is what happened here but you appear clueless.
The electoral college vote was Biden 306 to Trump 232. Only complete imbeciles or actual fascists could believe Pence could overturn an election.
Effectively Vice President Pence was the one person that decided the outcome of the election by doing nothing to contest the massive vote fraud and cheating in the election.
If you were living under a rock for the past year I'll tell you again, Stacey Abrams initiated a suit against the State of Georgia and to settle it our Secretary of State signed a consent decree which required no signature verification of absentee ballots and enabled other unconstitutional cheats. In addition to that, we all watched with our own eyes a one time large bump in the vote totals what was a statistical impossibility. Video evidence of cheating was recorded in Fulton County, the state's most-populous county, and numerous other cases of election fraud were also documented across the state. The volume of cheating was much greater than the margin between President Trump and Vice President Biden. The other swing States have other similar circumstances documented.
See this snippet from an article on NPR:You see from this there was a precedence for the Vice President hearing objections to the slate of electors from each state. We know now that there were even designated Congressmen and Senators who were going to make the objections until the "crisis actor 01/06 insurrectionist" caused the lockdown and interruption of the joint session.Four years later, the January 2005 joint session of Congress heard the Electoral College result from Bush's reelection over Democratic Sen. John Kerry of Massachusetts (who did not attend). A House member of Ohio, Stephanie Tubbs Jones, rose to object to the count from her state. It mattered, because without Ohio's electoral votes, Bush would not have had the 270 needed to win.
Jones said there had been irregularities and defects in her state, including a lack of voting sites in communities of color. She was supported by Sen. Barbara Boxer, a Democrat from California. The House and Senate separated, debated for two hours and voted to accept the Ohio count as reported. Boxer's was the only vote to the contrary in the Senate.
But you claim that there was no recourse to contest any fraudulent election. Who's side are you really on?
This thought occurred to me as well. By disrupting the assembly, all efforts by Cruz and others to call into question the fake election were put off permanently.
I am now fairly certain that January 6 was a deep state orchestrated event.
Patriots are finished and as such submitting to the brunt of ridicule if this isn’t rectified with retribution meted out to discourage infringements further
Yup.
Wounds my heart with a monotonous languor.
Objections were made, Pence heard the objections and adjourned both the House and the Senate to their respective chambers, where they debated and voted on them.
For example:
Senate debates objections to electoral votes
House debates Arizona elector votes following objections
