Hypocrite Biden Filibustered Bush Nominee Prolife Judge Janice Rogers Brown As First Black Female SCOTUS Judge

Joe Biden may not be playing with a full deck but his has plenty of race cards, from saying in the 2020 presidential campaign that if you didn’t support him you ain’t black to pledging to put the first black female justice on the U.S. Supreme Court despite hypocritically preventing that racist Republican, President George W. Bush, from doing so. Bush had nominated Judge Janice Rogers Brown in 2003 to a seat on the U,S. Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia Circuit, long considered a prime source of potential nominees to the Supreme Court. Brown, a daughter of sharecroppers, brought impressive credentials to the table, having served for seven years as an associate justice of the California Supreme Court – the first black female to have that honor. Bit she was the wrong kind of black female – she was conservative and in today’s “woke” parlance, she was the black face of white supremacy of her day. She would be the dress rehearsal for bigot Biden’s attempted “high-tech lynching” of another “uppitty’ BLACK, ONE Clarence Thomas. As Washington Post columnist Marc Thiessen writes:

Biden and his fellow Democrats filibustered her nomination, along with several other Bush circuit court nominees, all of whom had majority support in the Senate. Columnist Robert Novak called it “the first

She was the wrong kind of black, you know. /s

By the way, she wasn’t nominated for the Supreme Court, only for the D.C. Circuit.

But Biden appeared on CBS’s “Face the Nation” to warn that if Bush nominated Brown, she would face a filibuster. “I can assure you that would be a very, very, very difficult fight and she probably would be filibustered,” Biden said.

False.

Actual quote:

SEN. BIDEN: But I could see a circumstance--for example, if he sent up Edith Jones I can assure you that would be a very, very, very difficult fight and she probably would be filibustered.

Oh wait. I was wrong. There's more to the story:

But I could see a circumstance--for example, if he sent up Edith Jones I can assure you that would be a very, very, very difficult fight and she probably would be filibustered.

Ms. GREENBURG: What about...

ROBERTS: Well, what...

Ms. GREENBURG: ...Janice Rogers Brown, someone else?

Sen. BIDEN: Excuse me. I'm not--by the way, I misspoke. I misspoke. Janice Rogers Brown is what I meant to say.

Ms. GREENBURG: Oh, OK
