I remember seeing a year or so ago some governmental official in Australia (probably the equivalent of a US state governor) ostensibly getting vaccinated, to inspire her minions to likewise get vaccinated.
The person administering the vaccination slid the syringe up under the vaccinees blouse sleeve, appeared to depress the plunger, and pulled the syringe out from under the sleeve.
THE NEEDLE STILL HAD THE PROTECTIVE SHEATH INSTALLED.

Outside of the departure from nearly every real shot I’ve seen, what struck me most was the very obviouse non-flinching, complete non-movement of his wife when stuck straight on with a needle that must have been over an inch long. Not a scintilla of movement in the slightest. It was almost as if she knew nothing would break the skin. I call shenanigans just on that alone. Nobody does that.
