Convoy Reports Following the federal government's announcement of a cross-border vaccine mandate, a coalition of Canadian truckers travelled from B.C. to Ottawa to protest COVID restrictions in the nation's capital.
Rebel News has reporters closely covering the truckers' Freedom Convoy. Follow along on this page for all of our hard-hitting coverage.
At the 2 hour and 39 minute mark, the truck first appears. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JGzob-Bk5DA&t=21s
It’s on Sparks street. The BOM Building.
He went back to the bank several other times over the course of the night. The only thing noted at that time were security camers near the door.
Hm. 5 minutes. Special constables carrying boxes from a Budget truck into the Bank of Montreal on Sparks street in Ottowa. No, they did not like him videoing them. Red plastic fish totes and big cardboard boxes badly secured with wide blue painter’s tape.
Do not have enough context for this for any sort of judgement. But it bothered the trucker. A lot. Hmm.
I can't see that as a bad idea. Although, the truckers could accomplish the same as a barricade if all of them just stayed home for a week or two. Everything would come to a stop.
Truckers are so abused. They really need to just take a week off.
Who wizzed in your cornflakes? You seem to not get out much into the real news world.
An unknown number of American Truckers joined their brothers in Canada, American farmers in their rigs helped the Canadaian blockade of the CA/US border from Alberta, and American truckers are planning a convoy to DC. I will post as much news and details of all convoys as I have time.
You could search and find news and post too if you want to. But it is easier to sit and type out insults and fact-free opinions.
WHat’s going on? My time today is ultra short and also my current antique computer won’t let me watch Rumble.
Thanks, now I see your comment describing.
The Tianenmen Square reference is appropriate
I was referring to the pre-crackdown goings on in Tianenmen Square.
You seem fixated on the post-crackdown massacre.
I understand why that might be. However massive the importance of the pre-crackdown goings on in Tianenmen Square, and they were massively important, the post-crackdown massacre that took place there tends to loom proportionally larger in the minds of many, perhaps most, around the world.
It is impossible for an assembly of the size that appeared in Tianenmen Square, in heavily and densely populated Beijing, China, in the warmth of Summer, to appear in relatively lightly and relatively sparsely populated Ottowa, Canada, in the drpths of winter.
This does not mean the people of Canada should not be allowed to be paid a complement by means of a favorable comparison to the events of Tianenmen Square immediately prior to the crackdown and massacre there.

There’s no indication the money has or will be frozen so far.

Hey, thanks! that’s a bracing uncalled for personal attack. (Redacted).
Unknown number is a joke. Fact filled, as there is no such thing right now as an American Trucker Convoy. Does not exist as much as you seem to want it to - so don’t attack me for saying the truth - you don’t like it then change it.
Tienanmen Square is not remembered here or particularity in mainland China for its attempt to overthrow Deng’s rule.
What happened before the massacre is unimportant, since it did nothing except get thousands of people murdered. And that’s what the Chinese people remember to this day.
There are any number of demonstrations, even here in the US, that are far more pertinent than the Chinese example, like the gatherings on the Capitol Mall almost a decade ago etc.
gaslighting
That is good news about GFM not frozen. I will see what kind of news I can dig up today, mostly on twitter and other places so far.
That’s what I like to see!
As expected.
AUSTRALIA NEWS...
BREAKING: Police violence at ‘Freedom Camp’ in Canberra
https://www.rebelnews.com/breaking_police_violence_at_freedom_camp_in_canberra
EXCERPT:
Dramatic scenes unfolded at the ‘Freedom Camp’ established a kilometre from Parliament House this afternoon.
Events escalated when police moved in to record number plates from vehicles deemed as being “parked illegally”.
Reports of a 65yo woman knocked to the ground stirred further conflict with other campers including a man in his seventies who was pepper-sprayed in the eyes, having to be carried off by bystanders.
People were seen cheering the man as he was carried away for assistance and several from the crowd came to embrace him in emotional scenes as the man pleaded to ‘hold the line’ and to ‘keep fighting’.
In a statement earlier in the day, police said:
“ACT Policing is engaging with protesters and campers who are located near the Patrick White Lawns adjacent to the National Library in Parkes.
“This afternoon (Wednesday, 2 February 2022) ACT Policing will ensure people at this location are aware they are parked and camping illegally and may be subject to fines and other penalties.
“Move-on orders may be issued in the coming days.
“The rights of people to peacefully protest is always acknowledged by ACT Policing, however when illegal actions take place, the people responsible will be dealt with in accordance with the law.”
Many of those who attended the ‘Convoy to Canberra’ have established a camp on the grassed area where they have been united in a bid to have their messages heard by politicians.
The camp has been steadily growing since the convoy, led by truck drivers, made its way to the nation’s capital on Monday morning.
Since then, waves of the convoy have made their way in trucks, buses, cars and motorcycles to protest in Canberra.
