First the CBC tried to just ignore the Freedom Convoy which is now converging on Ottawa. However, when the trucker movement in Canada became too big to ignore, the CBC began smearing them as "extremists" and "bad apples" as you can see in this video in which the Canadian media is desperately trying to marginalize the members of the Freedom Convoy.
Freedom is now an extreme concept in once-free Canada.

That’s fine... if you go to any of the Toronto papers (with exception of the Toronto Sun most of the time https://torontosun.com/ ), it’s like this isn’t even happening. Take a look at the front page of the Mop and Pail... https://www.theglobeandmail.com/ You have total gridlock in the nation’s capital for an indeterminant amount of time and yet the only story the Mop has about it at the top of the page is this one? You’ve got to be kidding.... https://www.theglobeandmail.com/canada/article-almost-one-in-five-canadian-truckers-is-south-asian-but-many-dont-see/ For the record, there are tons of truck drivers of ‘south Asian descent’ who have driven their trucks to Ottawa as part of the convoy!
But all of this is just fine... everyone knows in intimate detail what is going on with the truckers and if you were to talk to anyone, you’d find that they are incredibly well informed. Now let me think... why is that? They are obviously getting their ‘news’ from somewhere.... and it sure isn’t the LSM! I don’t think that anyone in the LSM has it figured out that a) no one believes them and b) in one way or another, we’re all now citizen journalists now!
The media has of course been in steep decline in Canada (and the U.S. of course) for a long time and this all will just hasten its descent into the dustbins of history.... Convoy brought tow trucks, if they want those scrapers out of the way they will be gone.
