The French government this week with an eye towards April 10th and the first round of the presidential election laid out a COVID plan for the week ahead.
It involves a tightened vaccine passport in public places starting Monday (January 24th) and a gradual loosening of other measures like the wearing of masks outdoors or standing to drink in a bar.
As France's Constitutional Council validated the vaccine pass approved by lawmakers it prohibited its use in conjunction with political rallies.
Some political personalities like "Les Republicains" presidential candidate Valerie Pecresse had wanted to use the vaccine pass in the name of holding "safe" meetings.
Another Saturday of protest in France and this was the scene as Yellow Vests gathered in Paris.
Down in Marseille today the orange smoke visible in the protest march the usual provocative dare I say it January 6th type stuff that serves to discredit Yellow Vests protests.
The black hooded anarchists show up to do their things to make opposition to the vaccine passport look like an "insurrection".
And who they ultimately work for is the police, the government IMHO.
And a large procession of demonstrators opposing the vaccine passport in the streets of Strasbourg in eastern France today.
In Brittany today the protest in Saint Nazaire with rally speakers and four minutes into the video you see the protest crowd.
In southern France another massive crowd in Toulon opposing the vaccine pass...
