Having an empire and perpetual war serves the deep state very well. Support it if you want, but please don’t whine when it also smashes your candidates, conservatives, and freedom at home
If I have to choose an empire that at least stops Communism from spreading and our standing around doing nothing as Communism conquers the entire world, including us, I’ll take an empire and perpetual war. Whatever it takes to get rid of Communism.
Besides, as much as I hate the Deep State, I have zero reason to trust the anti-Deep Staters, either, especially not when far too many of them come across as outright shills for Communism and the French Revolution. If we don’t destroy Communism, our freedom will be lost at home anyways, due to the Communists taking over.
Heck, if anything, we were COMPLETELY isolationist during the 1930s. That didn’t deter Communism from getting a foothold in America. If anything, it accelerated Communism’s foothold in America quite a bit, even resulting in our coming close at the time to having a puppet president for the USSR, Harry Dexter White (thank goodness FDR swapped him out with Truman, or else we’d have an even WORSE fate in America). Until Communism is extinguished (of which Communism’s spread was ultimately OUR fault thanks to bankrolling Lenin and Trotsky due to Woodrow Wilson and especially Vinegar Joe and Marshall’s handling, or should I say, bungling of China, to say little about FDR’s mishaps), we have to put up with perpetual war.
Actually, scratch that, we definitely should have also stopped the Jacobins from taking power in France. Since we let the Jacobins win, that led to them growing in popularity, resulting in Voltaire being taught to Karl Marx, and creating Communism. Washington, with all due respect, was ultimately in error there.

Yes, if we could test emBASE here at home to secure the porous border from the bad-guys who kill our citizens; run the drugs and arms; and harass the BP, that would be a big step in the right direction!
It was always my thought that China’s ultimate ante in reunifying Taiwan with the mainland would be offering to broker a reunifucation of North Korea with the South under South Korea’s government.
Fortunately for Taiwan, the PRC’s mask has slipped and their big-stick approach can only lead to trouble. No way now would Taiwan agree to peaceably rejoin the mainland.
