The Chinese Communist Party is Still Buying Up American Land.
The National Pulse ^ | January 20, 2022 | Kay Smythe

"The Chinese Communist Party (CCP) is continuing its U.S. agricultural takeover, buying hundreds of thousands of arable acres across the nation. The purchase of U.S. land is part of the CCP’s food security initiative, posing a significant threat to food and national security for the American public. Republicans appear willing to confront the risk by introducing amendments to H.R. 4356 and 2022 Agricultural Appropriations bill to limit land ownership and tax incentives for foreign investors.

At the beginning of 2020, Chinese investors had purchased upwards of 192,000 acres of American agricultural land. The value of the land is roughly $1.9 billion, which is an exponential increase in ownership over the ten years prior. Exact numbers on the land owned by China and Chinese companies are almost impossible to track, as the USDA’s data on farmland ownership is two-years out of date. ..."

Communist China should not be allowed to own ANY land in America, for obvious reasons.

Confiscate their land to pay off the $1 trillion Cheyna owes American holders of unpaid Chinese treasuries (most of which have passed away but Cheyna still owes their heirs).

I remember the scare stories back in the 60s about how the Arabs were buying up America. Then later it was the Japanese. Many of both lost their shirts.

Good.

If they act too stupidly we can nationalize everything they’ve bought.

“Then later it was the Japanese. Many of both lost their shirts.”

The most famous Japanese buy was paying $8 billion for the Pebble Beach Golf Club.

The buyers sold it to an American some years later for $4 billion.

Yeah, I’ve been there. You never know what’s behind the scene with big investors though. They could have taken that hit on Pebble Beach to raise cash to save another deal worth a lot more money than the lost $4 billion.

I just got ANOTHER letter today wanting to buy up some vacant land our family owns. In the backwoods, and I do mean back woods of Arkan-saw.

What is the law regarding foreign ownership of American property? Are they any laws restricting it?

Good. They owe us $2-3 trillion in reparations. I’m pretty sure Trump plans to nationalize all their US assets as repayment.

A number of states ban foreign ownership of agricultural land. Don’t think there are fed restrictions.

Foreign ownership of American land is required to be registered with the Department of Agriculture.

If anything goes down with them, *POOF*, they now no longer own ANYTHING inside the US borders. They should be FINE with this, right? Being against private ownership of land and all of that.
