A speeding motorcyclist who was being tracked by a Los Angeles Police Department helicopter was killed in a brutal head-on crash during the chase.
The unidentified cyclist was speeding down Roscoe Boulevard in West Hills, Calif. at about 1 p.m. on Thursday before slamming head-on into a vehicle making a left turn.
Cops initially ran the license plate and determined the motorcycle was stolen, LAPD spokesman Sgt. Bruce Borihanh told the Post.
The officers then called on an LAPD helicopter to track the motorcyclist, who took off at a high speed.

The motorcyclist gets 9.1 from the Russian judge but is sticky on the landing.
“I wonder if he said WHEeeeeeeeeeeeee.”
Or “Wendy I CAN fly!”
Interesting reading the comments at the video link.
There is a decided lack of sympathy for the guy and LOTS for the people whose vehicle he hit.
What a lot of damage was done to both vehicles. He gets a 10 on execution and form. There sure could not have been much left of him.
I sure hope the folks he hit are going to be OK.
“I’m learning to fly, but I ain’t got wings
Coming down is the hardest thing..... “
It is probably just the police dragging out the “investigation”. But I would not be surprised if the firefighters were still trying to find pieces of the body and “decontaminating” the mess. The chunks can be quite small, so it can be like a sick Easter Egg hunt.
Yeah, it’s about as good as the video of the ISIS suicide bombers vehicle exploding in mid air.
I’m surprised that the TV announcer didn’t say something like Holy *&%40**! when he crashed.
I know I would have....
“But Tony couldn’t fly, Tony died!”
Did you add for distance?
I gave his head a ten. His body a 8.5.
Yikes
In Russia you don’t stick landing, landing sticks you.
Back to remedial physics class for you.
Force x time = mass x velocity
Wow.. lol
She had to stop herself from laughing several times.
I rather doubt it. If you look at the slo-mo video in post 25, there is no way the driver had time to react. The motorcyclist drove between 2 cars nearing the intersection. At a 100 miles a hours he likely never saw him.
OK. Suppose I have my motorcycle stolen. How long do I have to keep paying insurance on it? Is there any insurance coverage for the people in the car?
I don’t think he made it.
This poor misguided man would still be alive if the police hadn’t chased him.

Of course he was misguided - he drove right into a minivan!
