A speeding motorcyclist who was being tracked by a Los Angeles Police Department helicopter was killed in a brutal head-on crash during the chase.
The unidentified cyclist was speeding down Roscoe Boulevard in West Hills, Calif. at about 1 p.m. on Thursday before slamming head-on into a vehicle making a left turn.
Cops initially ran the license plate and determined the motorcycle was stolen, LAPD spokesman Sgt. Bruce Borihanh told the Post.
The officers then called on an LAPD helicopter to track the motorcyclist, who took off at a high speed.

Another view of the accident. Looks like the driver of the car had the green arrow to turn.
I saw a guy do that at a much slower pace and almost hit a tree flying thru the air. He survived with some bumps.
It’s not official until John Madden draws out the play on screen and explains what happened.
They will get LWOP. šš¤
Darwin award winner! Thanks to all idiots who kill themselves so we do not have to pay for a lifetime prison sentence.
Only in patty form...
Absolutely- car drivers that are making a left are just a ridiculous danger. Itās always some old person too - turning up their street after a run to the market
When did this country become so feminized? I think during the Vietnam era and the push to demonize boys because we liked to play Army with toy guns and we like to make homemade explosive devices and cool stuff.

Likewise responded to a few bike accidents. One in particular was similar to this one, bike traveling in excess of 120 mph, car making a left turn. T-boned the car and left his left leg in the car, his remaining mortal remains over the roof and into a corn field.
Of course his buds erected a roadside memorial and one was quoted in the paper saying he died doing that which he loved. So I’m curious to know if that is really true, I would imagine there was a point somewhere between the short time Mr. Highly Skilled Motorcycle rider realized he was going to hit that car and when the lights went out that he really wasn’t loving this experience but what do I know?
To be honest I’ve never seen that vault before so distance didn’t come into play. I must admit the speed he hit the horse was quite impressive.
I ride and yes, one must always try to anticipate a car turning left.
My wife exclaimed, "Whew, there go a couple of "20 minuters!" This was an inside joke between the two of us referencing a Black Adder episode where new fliers in WWI were called 20 minuters because that was the amount of time most of them were expected to survive on their first mission.

Shortly afterwards we got stuck in a traffic slow down. We were wondering what the problem was. As we sat in traffic the State Patrol and a bunch of emergency vehicles went by. Shortly before we got up to the disruption there was sign that said, "Motorcycles use caution". They had been doing some road work and there was an abrupt edge between the HOV lane and the rest of the lanes. Then we saw fire and police vehicles, a smashed up motorcycle, a bunch of police and fire people milling about, and a tarp covering a small body. It was pretty obvious that it was the girl.
That night on the news we saw that the guy had spilled the bike after passing someone else on the right as he came back into the lane and hit the abrupt lane edge that had just started. He survived but his girlfriend did not.
The police spokesman said they were not pursuing him. They were watching him from the air along with news helicopters.
The black female TV hack was smiling and laughing when airing this on their station....Unreal...Right after impact, she thought it was all quite funny...
No time to think about all that. He barely had time to blink once prior to impact.
Btw, one not ride a motorcycle to look like they’re a victim of a terrorist bombing...I know a case where a Porsche doing 100mph+ and violently rolled and the driver was ejected out the moon-roof. But his torso was mostly still secured in the seatbelt harness, but his head, arms and legs left via the moon-roof. The collision reconstructionist said the vehicle had violently rolled 12+ times.
And there as a female driver in LA, who’s vehicle violently rolled on a freeway, ejecting the driver with such force, her body landed on a utility catwalk of a freeway overhead sign which is about 18+ feet above the freeway.
